Naa the "tussle" was over Tarriffs and Nullification. Slavery was the emotional issue the Federal Government used to justify invading the states that didn't want to play their game any more.

Well what I see in the country and even a bit here, is simply more faction and the birth pangs of extreme nationalism.

When any opposition is no longer loyal as often described, when opposition is denigrated, called traitors and told to leave the country for exercising their constitutional rights, the protection of which our 'greatest generation' fought and died for, it is probably the beginning of the end of civil society and maybe even this country as we know it now.

Not exactly his first hate crime he has gotten away with. Did he get away with it or is he habitually allowed to get away with them all? There is a clear and concise difference.
