Trump New Ban (Full Version)

I find it extremely hilarious how the Left organizations were screaming "Discrimination against Muslims" like Murder last time.

And now they are screaming angry that they can't accuse Trump of being discriminatory towards Muslims anymore.

With Christians Venezuela and Atheist North Korea added into it!

From my end, even if Singapore were banned from entering US. It wouldn't even bother me. I don't feel like it's my privilege to have the right to enter any other country. It should be subjected to their approval.

So I never understood why people gets so upset about this.

But while others got banned. US lifted Visa Requirements for my country to enter US.

We have Muslims too. A Muslim Female President in full glory of head gear. So Singaporean Muslims have easy no hassle access to the US!

Yet in recent ISIS video, it was a Singaporean Muslim who was the star it ha! Big Hoo Ha in our country, like why did this Singaporean join ISIS and become leading man in their advertisement video.

I find funny too recently that our government was talking about dealing with China. They don't want China to think we are a Chinese country, so they always send a minority race delegate to deal with China lol. To create the feeling that Singapore is not just Chinese people.

I also was thinking, imagine if US government said something like they make sure they send only African American delegates to china so that China would not think US is a white-only country. Would that offend anybody or not?

You've already made it abundantly clear you're all for discrimination. That's what the Left is howling about here. I don't think they're right, but that's what they're howling about.

many people do not realize how foolish these discrimination debates are.

If we ban all discrimination by default then we also flush the right to association, and speech down the tubes with it.

The bottom line as I said earlier in another thread, if we choose to wipe our ass with our right hand we discriminate against the left hand.

Discrimination is a core constituent of free choice.

It would not be about you as the immigrant, Greta. It is about how we define ourselves. On the one hand we have long declared ourselves a nation of immigrants while on the other hand we don't want no fuckin foreigners coming ashore.

But obviously the discrimination here is either a legal civil matter or political discrimination not a discrimination you exercise in choosing with whom you hang out or your speech which and are already proteced by law.

For me to choose who I hang out with (associate with) I can and we all discriminate and is not banned by law now.

We should just give that one some more time too.

Well most immigrants came here to get more money or at least be no poorer than they were in their home country but no longer oppressed. Some, many millions came here...to get rich.

That you might have to live like a rat or share a townhouse (5 room row house that shared walls, not floors) for a while was no worse than home. Everybody here already...hated them too. (got any insomnia ? read about the Irish immigrant to the US, may keep you awake) (rent BTW on a side note: $13-$15/mon., pay at .60/hr was $36/week 60 hours full time) Few had those jobs. If they did, they were middle-class.

If Trump would have presented this version of the travel ban originally, fluffing it enough with easily labelled evil people, it could have flown. Still may, though not likely.

If the Administration had smart people in it (no guarantee either way), immigration officials would have been working out improvements to the vetting process this whole time. By the time the courts decide the case, those improvements should be in place, making the temporary travel ban unnecessary. That would leave just the ban on refugees from Syria, which few argued about (though I'm sure that will start up as soon as the temporary travel ban becomes moot).

The way I see it. What the Trump Voters want in the US is, selective immigrants.

They view the people who came into their countries years ago as useful contributors to society who didn't come in to live on tax payers money and live on their welfare.

Back then there was NO welfare. It was every man for himself. Wild Wild West!

And those immigrants in the past came here, were entrepreneurs and built America together.

There is a difference.

It was never against all kinds of immigrants but finding a way to discriminate against bad immigrants and vetting for only good immigrants to be let in.

North Korea pretty much every North Korean has been brainwashed to a certain way, as they have no access to outside media or what's going on in other worlds. So makes sense to ban the whole country.
