some good posts here. i was burned in the teck bubble. as well as the rush to the Pacific rim.
the commnet about what paycheck would support a 900k house -right on.
someone mentioned florida. i dont like hurricanes which will continue. the OP- had brought this up, [me] as my brother wants to moves on from Chicago. he was in NV, less then a week. Clark county. if i had my way- ild have him in PA. but he hates PA, hates anyplace with snow.
im near Harriburg- which its airport offers no bargain flights. Baltimore does.... so we are trying to keep it somehwat reasonable for the family to see eachother now in 2-3 states. my sister has her 1st baby on the way- which will change family dynamics greatly-
i personally could live in a shack. but i want quiet. no loud parties when i must get up next day. so i live on a retired block....
ild probaly go to a xxx trash zipcode- rather then ever take a room mate again , or live where the units walls are paper thin.
so my brother is next heading for florida...where he knows the turff better. he also like TN, which is probaly the best place for wife material- something he also wants. [about 1 hour outside of Nashville i thought]
