I never met one person that marked every day of Obama's 8 years. I never heard any howling at him either except when he broke the law of really really fucked up foreign affairs. Even then they weren't howling at him so much as what he'd done and they didn't howl like animals as seems to be the case here.

SCHIFF: We've known for some time, at least it has been publicly reported, that the dossier --the hiring of Christopher Steele-- was originally on behalf of one of the Republican candidates, and later on behalf of the Democratic candidate. This was the first confirmation of half of that. But it doesn't really shed light where we need light shed -- and that is: How much of what Mr. Steele found can be corroborated, how much of it is accurate.

We've been working hard to answer that question, and that is really what the American people need to know. Indeed some of the dossier has been corroborated.
What I find most interesting is that Christopher Steele, no matter who was paying for his services, may have discovered before our own intelligence agencies that the Russians were going to interfere in our election on behalf of Donald Trump.

We have a lot of work to do on behalf of some of the claims in the dossier, but it doesn't add much value to learn who paid for it necessarily and I view this as the effort to discredit [primary author Christopher Steele] which really doesn't advance the investigation...

Here the Republicans are less interested in what did Russia do and how did they do it and how do we protect ourselves? But rather, let's shift the focus on to any kind of government misbehavior, and maybe if we can suggest that the whole investigation goes back to this dossier and this dossier was opposition research, maybe we can discredit the whole investigation and maybe we can get the country to ignore what Russia, in fact, did.

The president was right all along, the whole Russia hoax was fake news from the very beginning. All of it.

Establishment Republicans had no involvement with the Russia dossier, it was Hillary's fake piece of fiction alone that spawned all of the mad howling leftist Russia hysteria and fake Washington Post stories, and even Mueller's appointment and congressional investigations and everything else. Establishment Republicans paid FusionGPS for opposition research, but regarding Trump's business deals, about Atlantic City, nothing about Russia

The president commenting on Hillary and the Republican establishment paying FusionGPS:

"This fake dossier. It was made up, and I understand they paid a tremendous amount of money — and Hillary Clinton always denied it. The Democrats always denied it. And now only because it’s gonna come out in a court case, they said, yes, they did it. They admitted it, and they’re embarrassed by it. But I think it’s a disgrace. It’s just really… It’s a very sad… It’s a very sad commentary on politics in this country."

"I think the uranium sales to Russia and the way it was done — so underhanded with tremendous amounts of money being passed — I actually think that’s Watergate modern age."

"The whole Russian thing is what it’s turned out to be. This was the Democrats coming up with an excuse for losing an election. They didn’t know what to say, so they made up the whole Russia hoax. Now it’s turning out that the hoax has turned around, and you look at what’s happened with Russia and you go to the uranium deal and you look at the fake dossier? So that’s all turned around. They say it began with the Republicans. I think I would know, but I won’t say. Hillary would have never announced it was them except for this great court case that’s going on where the judge was going to reveal it. They’re very embarrassed by it. It’s a disgrace. Yes, it might have started with the Republicans early on in the primaries. I think I would know, but let’s find out who it is."

https://www.axios.com/house-intel-committee-now-looking-at-cambridge-analytica-2495655002.html

House Intelligence Committee members are looking into whether Cambridge Analytica, a data analysis and targeting firm used by the Trump campaign, may have played a role in colluding with Russia, The Daily Beast reports. A committee spokesman said the firm has been asked to provide the committee with information that might help its investigation but clarified that "Cambridge is not under investigation, and there is no suggestion of any wrongdoing by the company."

The backdrop: Cambridge is backed by Robert Mercer, a wealthy, conservative hedge fund mogul who contributed significantly to Trump's presidential campaign. Mercer and his daughter Rebekah are also partial owners of Breitbart, the conservative website led by former White House advisor Steve Bannon. Some argue that a link between the Russians and the Trump presidential campaign could lie in the data operation, although there is no evidence of a correlation at present.

Trump campaign officials and Republican data operatives have argued that Cambridge exaggerated its role in Trump's digital campaign.

For months after the election Cambridge touted its role in using "psychographic" data analysis that could predict Americans' political leanings, but was forced to walk those claims back after campaign officials refuted them. Axios spoke with nearly one dozen Republican data and advertising executives, who said that the firm was mostly used to do fundraising work in June of 2016 and pivoted its role to data and polling analysis in August.
In an interview with Axios last week, Trump Advertising Director Brad Parscale said he hired Cambridge Analytica at the beginning of the campaign because he needed to ramp up staff to help execute advertising buys quickly. Parscale said that he initially turned down their offer because of cost, but eventually brought them on when they agreed to do the work for less money. On Sunday, Parscale told 60 minutes that he didn't think Cambridge's "psychographic" techniques worked.
Cambridge is also facing an inquiry from British data privacy regulators that want to understand its rolein influencing Brexit votes.
The lawsuit that could change the investigation: David Carroll, an associate professor at Parsons School of Design in New York, is hoping that a legal loophole will grant him access to the information about Cambridge's data operation that is being sought by US Intelligence officials, per The Guardian. Under UK law, Carroll has the ability to ask for his data back from the company, so he is now trying to raise money to sue Cambridge's UK parent company, SCL Group Ltd, to learn how Cambridge profiled millions of Americans.

Come to think about it, still hearing the complaining about Obama even though Trump is actually in office

Were you in a coma during Obama's presidency? Any time I turned on the news, it was saturated with Right Wingers screaming about how horrible he was, etc, etc, etc. Hell, HRC was a 2 time POTUS loser and I still hear RWers screaming about her too. Most often here, Trump commits yet another act of stupidity...and a Trump kiss ass chimes in with "But Obama!!!!!! But Hillary!!!!!!"

Howling is howling...no matter if its a howl from the Right side or a Left side howl. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

This is o funny. It's not the topic so you're trolling. And, it's all obfuscation because it's just come out that Hillary has the Russian connection.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I stand by what I said (was in the middle of an edit, so what I said above is where I stand).

I never said anything about your super amazingly unbiased totally balanced news sites. You decided my news sources were not balanced and told me I needed better...though you dont even have clue one what sources I go to for news. You know I am not a RWer towing the party line, so you automatically just dismissed and attempted to diminish me. But please, continue to speak down to me like Im unintelligent dirt beneath your feet needing to be guided to the holy knowledgeland you are coming from. I find it amusing. If you dont like that, you are more than welcome to file a grievance with my union. Its the DGAF Local #123 😊

Lucy, help me pick a scream. Should I go full Jamie Lee Curtis?

Go classical: Wilhelm scream.

I was thinking the combined Janet and Michael Jackson "Scream" video scream. If I remember right (and its been awhile since Ive seen the video), but I think there were mirrors or glass shattering. If he is going to scream, might as well break some shit while he's doing it 😊
