Stocks are way up, consumer confidence is the highest it's been since before Obama, GDP is up... I can't imagine why the doom and gloom propagandists keep predicting the end of the world.

(It's a mystery)

Yes it is amazing how the Obama administration policies have worked out... I just hope Trump does not screw things up.

Had your pussyhat queen managed to steal the election as expected, the propaganda would have been opposite and consumer confidence would still be low (despite the mantra of her propagandists)

Oh I think you could be right here... I think Trump's election did reinforce the improving economy but his policies were not the reason. I believe Clinton's election would have temporarily depressed the economic surge but just for a short time.

Isn't it nice that the upsurge that started about 7 years ago is managing to continue?

What upsurge ? GDP of 3% in 5 of 32 quarters under Obama. 1 1/2 to 2% was the new normal under Obama.

It'll stop as soon as the spacehopper in the white house manages to finally get some legislation through congress...

I don't think he can get anything thru Congress.
The Republicans who control congress have finally realized that he isn't a Republican in spite of that letter after his name.

I think Nancy Pelosi called it the 'funconomy' or something like it. All the people laid off had more time to do fun things.

Again? The blog starts by pointing out it’s the first time since April.

I.e., the economy has NOT been doing so well for half a year.

President Trump Gangster is actually dismantling the American economy (well, American society… really) by dismantling; democracy, Health care, Equality, Truth, Constitution, tax burden on the rich etc. I summarize there will come a day of reckoning (crash), and soon.

In theory they are Obama’s policies – not that I am led to believe he passed anything major in the last 6 years?

There is always a lag for policy: just as there is always a recovery following a crash. I would say the UK’s recovery is going terribly and 15 years plus of Austerity since 2010- we are not half through despite the promises being 5 years.

Anyway, my dear Boscox, anything happening on the Russian front?
(Are you wondering, like me, if Poppadom was wired)?
How much tax did Paul manafort pay on 75 million or was that Poppadom.
How much tax do you think Trump pays, had paid.

How much money he took from the Russians directly and indirectly?

Would you like me to explain the DOW to you in 1 line and why it does not matter to plebs like you and me?

You'd think they'd have noticed that as soon it became evident that he'd been elected by The National Enquirer rather than Fox, really...

Millions of people were being laid off indeed.................while Dubya was POTUS
the next 8 years, unemployment dropped.

Anyone who wasn't hopelessly ignorant or living under a bridge would know that.

And no, Pelosi didn't call it anything because she's too fucking stupid.

They are coming for him, and sooneth, denier and enabler of said lies.

I hope they hang the sick fucker myself as you boast to your children, and children’s children how you stood with him until he was strung up, and gasped his last breath "Hillary"

You strike me as someone bereft of charge of rationality, blithering halfwit. Let the history books remember you like the colluding mafia draft dodging lying big toe nail. I muse at you in the same way I would do with a virulent case of the pox.

This is a fun chart to track and compare just how the Dow is doing under Trump.

http://www.macrotrends.net/2481/stock-market-performance-by-president

In month 9 of their presidencies, Trump's Dow has gained a very respectable 17.7% since his inauguration, which is obviously much much better than Obama's Dow which had a miserable 21.4% gain at the same point.
