The irony is rather obvious. Here's a guy who rather than fly the flag of his country, flies the flag of a historical country created by US traitors who seceded, took federal property and upon firing a shot...became as guilty as any traitors to this country. Then berates what he judges disrespect for a flag for which he himself, has...shown no respect.

The partisan tyranny was that of the south, not the north.

merc I agree with your point, but at the same time, I have always predominantly seen the confederate flag just a symbol for a love of the south---which in no way is incompatible with the national anthem. so no irony there either.
