I remember saying you might have some exposure. I don't remember a specific instance where you crossed the line. It's just a matter of being intimately familiar with your posting history, I find it hard to believe you haven't.

As far as "giving us a chance": I like this site. I don't want to cause them undue stress or cost, but they've been used a vehicle for some very uncivil behavior. They probably have some exposure. Now, as I've stated, if the offending poster(s) want to do the right thing and swallow a little pride, I'll be satisfied.

I know you can't grasp anything but the simplest concepts, but you'll get there, eventually.

as for the rest of your message: eat shit and live.

not the law in canada, but definitely important in US law. for describing libel and slnder

Okay. My Crimson Tide has won the day and I have had some time to cogitate on this.

Just so you two know: this will be my last comment on this issue so "listen" up and here we go.

First off, it almost seems like you two are getting emotional about this. I don't mean angry at me, but it almost seems like you're "hurt" because someone would dare to take action against your precious site. I guess I can understand that. Maybe it's more of a financial consideration? Maybe you're invested, here? Or, maybe, you just feel like your venue for smearing people you don't like by way of innuendo while remaining anonymous is being threatened?

I don't know. be that as it may; I also get the feeling that you're trying to "draw information out of me". Possibly to "help" your precious little sandbox, again. That may be, too.

Either way, I owe both y'all NOTHING by way of an "explanation" of my actions. It is my RIGHT to bring a lawsuit, if I feel it important enough, if I can afford the legal fees, and if a lawyer (and judge) feels it's not frivolous.

I "threatened" (there's no legal "threat", when one is "threatening" to perform a legal act) one person with litigation. I have also made my position clear on that. It can be avoided. As far as "harping on" this, it is both y'all that seem to keep wanting to dredge this up. I can't help but to wonder why?

Do I feel a lawsuit will be successful? I don't know. (I have to be careful, here as my lady is sitting next to me, making sure I acquiesce to my lawyer's wishes of "keeping my mouth shut about this") I have very good reason to believe that a lawyer, contacting this website on behalf of a poster CAN effect change.

Whether or not I know the legal definitions is irrelevant. That my lawyer does, is.

I know you both feel "entitled" to answers from me, but just try to think of this as an email and leave your entitlement elsewhere. Unless you think you have some legal (civil) exposure, here, this is no longer (from my point of view) any of your business and you'll get nothing more on this subject out of me.
