DaddySatyr -> Some Examples of REALLY Taking a Stand (11/3/2017 4:40:18 AM)

Article here

A pretty long list of some pretty big names. As soon as sexual and other harassment became public, they took a stand.

Kudos (especially) to Dolly Parton (because I've always liked her [;)]) and Sam Moore (because I've been a fan for over 40 years).

Looks like the company is being decimated. I hope one of the guys that broke away and started their own company gave whoever was harassed a job.

Obviously, you're a fan of either poetic justice or Kharma?

[:D]

Peace,

Michael

Ok that made me laugh, harnessed...I had a BDSM flash...pony style.
Im not taking the piss, it seriously gave me a laugh from the visual.

I also agree with you about the guy that started his own business. Webster needs to suffer, financially and judicially.
Ive never heard of webster before but it doesnt surprise me its been hidden and ignored for far too long.

No I'm fine with the company being decimated. My concern was that a woman was being harassed and when it came to light she may be out of a job for bringing it to light. I don't consider that poetic justice. I really do hope she fairs well and was offered a job by someone who broke away and started their own company.

Not what I meant.

I meant that it would be poetic justice/Kharma if one (or more) of the abused managed to get out of Webster before it went down to ruin.

Peace,

Michael

I was considering from my perspective that's it's probably a pretty narrow field of expertise and if one (or more) of the harnessed had invested a great deal in the field there may be limited places to go and practice their chosen profession. I'd hate for the whistle blower to have to give up what they'd invested their time and ability in and have to start over in a new career just to have a safe and sane place to work.

Have any of the artists spoken publicly about their reasons for leaving the agency?

Based upon that article (the only one I could find): Sam Moore's wife; not exactly a "star", but married to and managing the career of a legend.

Why not register a complaint with the police rather than punish all the innocent employees that work at that firm. Put the SOB in jail without throwing innocents out of a job and destroying families?

In most States, sexual harassment is a civil matter, not criminal.
