Ya IF the complaint is that the police only writes a report base on what's in the body cam and thus not considered writing honestly. Then that's saying the cam produces false evidence.

And I think police cam are suppose to be switched on 24/7 as long as they are on duty to feature how it went down from start to end!

This begs opening another can of worms.

Is body cam footage public record?

What about footage of interactions with persons never arrested or charged? What of their privacy.

Personally, I would consider police footage to be privileged information to be closely held and not to be released to the public until it is used in evidence in court and then becomes part of a public record.
