On the plus side; a golf course is one of the places it is so hard to surveil that you can mostly be assured of a private conversation.

On the other hand, I agree with Mark Twain that a round of a golf is a wonderful way to inject stress and argument into a wonderful walk in the countryside.

Ordinarily that's true, but I doubt that your conversation will be all that private if there's a golf cart full of secret service agents following you around the course...
