Okay ... I'm going nutso here. I want to use my picture as an avatar but keep getting the message that the file I'm trying to upload exceeds the limit. I've cropped it, saved it as a .GIF, saved it as a .TIF ... no luck. The pic I'm trying to use is a 76KB GIF. Any ideas, suggestions or instructions would be most appreciated.

It's not memory, it's pixel size. Resize the image to 250x250 maximum, then you'll have no problem. I ran into the same thing, took me a few tries to figure it out
