Pretty sure I posted in that thread. And see how easy it is to respond to someone else's post without insulting them? I can do it and I've had two strokes. So what's your excuse? And why do you expect me to continue dealing with it every time you reply to me?

My IQ is rather high, according to tests I did in school. I suffer from no loss of
noticeable brain or mobility functions from my strokes, luckily, though I'm currently dealing with some vision issues, which can all theoretically be corrected with surgeries and glasses later.

But this thread isn't about me, yet you continue to give completely invalid and generally wrong opinions of me. You think insulting me somehow makes you right? It doesn't. You should be able to argue your point, or your opinion of the events discussed in a thread, rationally. Instead, you choose to discuss the person disagreeing with your point of view. That behavior is bad for the forum, and does not make new or old people rush here for that. Although, you'd think we'd have more masochists in this section so we can call them names, if they're into that sort of thing.

Yup. Politics is just too damn mean these days. Everyone has their opinion, and everyone is just really tired of other people's shit. But the animosity should be placed on the people we vote for, not each other.

Status: offline 		Well, insults are his only real counter. There's no discussion, no dialogue, no debates, and no resolutions. Of course, we aren't empowered here to make the big legal changes, but we can discuss matters of the day in a civil manner, and laugh about the extremes on both sides. I won't lie, some of the articles Bosco posts are informative. But the articles don't quite match the words he uses in their links, and don't quite prove any real points. The article should be the starting point for a discussion. Even if it's just the 3 of us for now.

Actually, it should be easier with just 3 of us. And I really wouldn't consider any of us extreme leftists.

OK... I am, guessing this thread is about inflation during the Biden administration.

What do you recommend be done about it? The FED has raised interest rates umpteen times. What else can be done?

In 2020 when the world's supply chain shut down during COVID. (ANd that especially includes oil production, as small exploration-only companies closed their rigs and went out of business, big oil shut down thopusands of wells), the Trump administration did absolutely nothing.

It's easy to blame Biden for inflation. What SPECIFICALLY should he be doing that he isn't doing?
And spare me the debunked Fox News rhetoric about regulations.

I would love to hear your sage economic advice.
