ORIGINAL: BoscoX The FBI had all social media spike that news (nothing to do with genitalia either) Sorry, there is no proof of that. Hunter Biden's Laptop and 'Twitter Files'—What We Do Know, What We Don't From the link... quote:
"According to Taibbi's thread, the decision to block the article was made with Vijaya Gadde, former head of legal, public policy & trust and safety at Twitter, playing a key role." quote:
"But in one screenshot, former U.S. policy communication manager Trenton Kennedy wrote that he was "struggling to understand the policy basis for marking this as unsafe." quote:
"The decision was said to have been based on what several of Taibbi's sources called a "general warning from federal law enforcement" about the possibility of the Post article stemming from foreign interference. Looks like democrats and possibly some in law enforcement wanted Twitter to review these tweets and HOPED Twitter would remove them. Perhaps for political gain for Democrats. That's not even CLOSE to the FBI having Social Media SPIKE anything.. A general warning? really? FURTHER... As I said, people were freely tweeting on Twitter about Ms. Devine's story ALL through this. Freedom of the press? Really? The NY Post had already PUBLISHED the story without issue. Fox News had Ms. Devine on the air constantly. EVERY Fox host hyped the story all through this. Not only that... Every MAGA web site and publication all over the world was and still is hyping this story. Your logic... Some Democratic politicians (very well may be for political reasons), and some in law enforcement asked Twitter to review certain tweets = CRUSHING of Freedom of Speech and CRUSHING of the Freedom of the Press When BOTH speech and Press had occurred is extremely flawed. At the end of the day, Twitter removed some Tweets from their OWN private platform, which is NOT, is NOT, is NOT protected by the First Amendment. NO ONE has any constitutional right to Tweet on Twitter. NO ONE. Read Judge Donato's ruling in Trump v. Twitter ‘Twitter Is a Private Company’: Trump, Anti-Vaxxers, and Dark Money Group Lose in First Amendment Lawsuit Against Twitter quote:
"Former President Donald Trump, anti-vaccination activists and others cannot gin up a First Amendment lawsuit against Twitter for the decisions the private company made to suspend or ban their accounts, a federal judge ruled. “Twitter is a private company, and ‘the First Amendment applies only to governmental abridgements of speech, and not to alleged abridgements by private companies,'” U.S. District Judge James Donato noted on Friday."
