Go Smith-Wyden!!!

I wish Washington had a 3rd Senator, Ron Wyden! I don't know much about Jason Smith, but he is a Republican who actually UNDERSTANDS policy!

The NEW SALT rebellion!

As someone, who has paid tons of state taxes in multiple states, and has been significantly victimized by the Trump tax increases, I hope these gentlemen can get this bill passed! (My kids are too old for the chold tax credit, but I definitely could use an uncapped SALT deduction like we had before Trump came along)

We don't have a state income tax here in Florida. Granted, salaries are pure shit too, but that's called the Sunshine Tax. Cuz you can't vote the sun away, I guess? Anyway, I'm on disability now, so aside from property & sales taxes, I don't have to worry about such things.

But you should really watch you sodium intake.

You can write off Sales Tax + Mortgage Interest (if you pay it)... IF that is enough to itemize.

We don't have income tax in WA either, but Oregon does.

OK... This is the only time you will see me praise House Republicans (JUST the ones from New York BTW)

They got it past the Rules committee. Then it has to pass Ways and Means and then a vote on the house floor and then to reconcile with the Senate bill!

Then i get an extra $1500 when I file my taxes next month :)

The House bill is retroactive to THIS tax year :)

F*cking House Democrats playing politics with this and not letting New York House Republicans play politics with this. The Dems want to wait until this disastrous Trump policy expires and pass something on their own.

The problem for me is I needed it THIS year. Not 2 years from now.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one.

I don't think it would effect me either way, so I don't give a fuck. But thank you for paying more taxes so that there's more money for important things, like cocaine-fueled orgies for the Republicans.
