I reviewed the possible categories for this post and ths seemed the most apt. Now in my (early) 60’s, I do feel that the general demographic of this site is considerably younger (perhaps, 20-40, on average?). Is that just my imagination? I’m happy to hear that this profile garners NO interest. The very few exchanges with what seem interested parties quickly fade, which leads to a growing cynicism. Judging by some of the posts in these forums, the health and well being of CS itself does appear to be in question. I maintain this profile, optimistically, since it IS a “free” site, and out of a sense of nostalgia. It seems entirely necessary to say, I welcome ALL perspectives, but would prefer they be respectful. P.S. I selected notification by email, however, that facility has not worked in years.

You're looking for a very small segment of the CS population, it's called Unicorn Hunting for a reason. And add to that your profile reads like you're not looking for something permanent, which further whittles away possible partners. If they fade away after taking to them, they have decided that you or your situation doesn't fit their needs. Be happy that they are doing it for you, rather than wasting more time. I was gone from here for a few years and the place looks abandoned. I live in Washington State and have been watching the listings in Washinton and Oregon for the last 2 months and not a single female has signed up in either state in that time. Where is everyone going to now?

AS OsideGirl has said, there are very few looking for what you have to offer. It's just a fact. Has nothing to do with aging out. What is also making it difficult for you to find your unicorn is that this site is not considered very useful to those who are into WIITWD. Very few come here anymore. At one time it was a great place to visit. Now it is a shadow of what it once was. These forums used to have many questions asked daily and many answers posted. My advice is to go to other free sites. Look for events and munches in your area. Attend them. Make friends.

The profile ages do not update on collar. I must be getting on a fair bit myself (50s). Older but no more senile because I maxed that out a long time ago. I gave up trying to meet people from sites a long time ago I just couldn't find anyone real, other side of the world aside. As some of you said the site has never been particularly busy or it could be the search function still does not work properly (still) after decades. Then you have iffy profiles but then most sites have those. A lot is down to "quality" of profiles Last time the site went down for epochs not all the regulars made it back. Part of that is because they could have forgotten their usernames or passwords. I don't believe you can reset your password via email and that is before I tell you most of us have long forgotten what email we used to sign up 20 years ago. Then, you have profile pending issues and some profiles have been on it for months - so people tell me. You could post or thread more.

Well the owner of this is likely to be a Beckett admirer and has modelled it over the years into a modernised version of Waiting for Godot. Search doesn't work, profile approval doesn't work, any admins (any left?) none caring for anything. Gender colours red or pink now denote no females any longer (because only a minor percentage stayed after these weeding out games over the last years ...) so taking it as a lesson to teach you waiting is the best left to do.

I haven't read Wating for Godot myself but I know enough about it not too. Doesn't turn up does he/she/T-rex and I strongly suspect you never find out why they two main characters are waiting for Godot. Search hasn't worked properly for years, along with the rest. I heard there is one new admin but that was a while ago. For all I know sites back to zero. Someone helped or was hired to fix out a little of the site code. For all I know that was a one off or until next time the site stops functioning. Profiles I have heard mixed. Some are approved some not. Time line varies couple of days, weeks, few months to waiting for Godot. Personally I have never encountered a bot problem on CM, fake scam profiles a few, but even then I cant tell anyone why profiles need to go for approval. Spam profiles should go via report button but I am not even sure if the report button works on here. I know the list you can select from 99% plus goes to no one of where ever gadot is. That has always been the case even in the olde days. I know a few of us have mentioned over the epochs the odd site announcement would be nice. There is a group for that isnt there but no one posted on it since 2013 or 2008 something like that. Was it a good book/Play? The pending issue I have seen some of us say, not many of us left, just create a new profile. I see you scrubbed us 5-1? With search and browse that's been needing updated for a good 15-20 years. Last login in page. Might work, or work little

I know "pending approval on here cannot mail or reply to emails. Not the same on groups? The report button goes to no one. You do know that? Even you asking where the hell your profile is? I am speculating but no ones profile got "pulled" How much do you know about this place and who runs it?

I've been on this site since like 2004 originally. This use to be the site for people in fetish to come to. It's sadly just a shell of it's former self. I still keep this account out of nostalgia I guess. It still actually has potential. Things change over time. But still, it should be noted how impactful this site use to be and probably still is to some people. The forums were gone for years. At least that's back. FetLife had of course become very popular. But it's still nice to have options. I was a young sub 20 years ago and this site helped me alot at that time. It would be nice to see it active once again. As it still has potential

I am speculating but no ones profile got "pulled" ... pulled as in active since joining, even approved for golden correspondence while someone fancied applying auto-German menu (bad idea then), then put on "pending approval" one summer afternoon and that was it. Whatever I tried to change anything that might have violated some whatever TOS in my profile, nothing happened ever since.

You don't have to violate any rules. Any update to your profile or pictures can put you in the pending purgatory. But here's a nasty trick: the site doesn't automatically change your age when your birthday rolls around. So if you want your profile to list your real age, you have to update your profile. And then BAM! You're stuck in pending purgatory. At first, I didn't even know so honest mistake. Once I did find out, it was too damn late. You can write journal entries to make updates and that seems fine.

As for the topic at hand, meeting someone to connect with online isn't guaranteed, but there's always a chance for any of us. I am a certain age, a certain weight, whatever. The goal is to find someone that deal with those things, or is even looking for those things, while meeting the standards I have as well, and then having kinks in common on top of that. The more specific your own criteria is, the more limited your potential partner list becomes. Also, the further away from standard you are, the same is true. There are so many factors that can add limitations to happily ever after. Preferring sex with a specific gender drops your range to half the population, and it just goes down from there. But limiting yourself to only one site to even try to find what you want is just dumb. Yeah, I'm not getting laid because of other sites and apps too, but I put myself out there.

Is your profile not approved? I have heard stories about this. I think they cannot send emails. I don't know if that also means they cannot reply to emails. I don't know if pending they can post on the groups? Or if they show up in searches or can search. If its an eternal Limbo. Because so many people were talking about Pending issues this year on a couple of other sites I checked, so I did this 1. I uploaded a picture or changed the order they show. 2. I added a word to my profile text to see if that would go to pending - Yes. 3. I added a comma to my profile text - yes went to pending think it was a couple days for that. 4. For the last year I tell people if your profile is approved do not update it. 5. couple days to months peoples profile are on pending and I take some have been years. I suspect not too many peoples break TOS so I am a little confused why they all go to pending. I heard might have been a bot problem or it was to stop them running rampant. How true that was dunno. I heard a mod say on FL they were checking all profiles. But again exactly how many profiles can there be on here? I suspect there is around 0-1 admin at any given time. There could be a couple more on occasions but I have never seen any evidence of that. People should ask in the chartroom here or ask on FL - seen a few ask on there but no one seems to truly know. Although I did see the admin here (no the owner) on a CM collar group on FL. If peoples profiles are pending I tell them just create another profile. How profiles are reviewed and in what order I don't have a scooby. As you can see on this group our join ups were all different dates and I have seen some 2024 profiles on here. I know who runs it is basically a one man OP. I know when it comes to admins it will be his decision on who he choses, if anyone, or more than 1. I know a few more details but I think a couple of the Americans know pretty much it all. I know some people offered to buy it some time ago. I suspect the owner wishes to keep it a free site too. I have no idea what is happening. I think there are admins here very rarely. (it used to be the mods on the forums had no power anywhere else) I think the site is hanging on by a thread and the owner doesn't wish to sink any more money into it with very little return. One day the site will disappear because hosting it will be than the money coming in.

Had this profile for a few years, realised this and went to update it, got a message now saying my profile cannot be approved. Sad as I cannot reply to any messages I have received so Im sure this looks like im ghosting the doms who have messaged me when in reality I just cant reply. I have messaged the help team twice but nothings changed
