I vaguely remember a noise for Mike Pence. Maybe that was just for a hug. Around the neck. And Nancy Pelosi'e husband being attacked. True communism doesn't exist on this planet. Maybe for the lowest socio-economic classes, but never for the oligarchs and those in power. Political ideals don't equate to violence. There are good people on both sides. And even Trump has said our health insurance system sucks. That's why he has conceptss of a plan. Mind you, he's also said we may never actually see that plan. But it'll be better than Obamacare, which he claims to have singlehandedly saved. Overthrowing an oppressive regime doesn't always mean becoming a better country. The American Constitution is still a brilliant document, though as a country, we still struggle to live up to it sometimes. United is my Medicare plan. They give me like $225 a month on a card to buy OTC stuff, pay bills, and buy "healthy" food. I'm not mad at that. We need to have a serious healthcare reform in this country, but I don't know what that would look like. There are just too many moving parts in the system to switch over to a socialized format. Even "Medicare for all" would be a huge change in how things are done, likely resulting in the unemployment of thousands in every state. A lot of extreme ideas have tremendous downsides. The status quo is there for a reason, like it or not, and any change must be incremental or we risk everything crumbling down. But some.people.still think the status quo sucks and incremental change just isn't fast enough. Costco for raise its prices, just like pretty much everywhere else had to due to inflation. The CEO of Costco wasn't trying to gouge consumers out of sheer greed. So the above scenario is assinine.
