CongressWhat one picture tells us about Trump's power in Congress

quote:

Shortly after Mike Johnson appeared to come up two votes shy of retaining the speakership of the House of Representatives on Friday, Marjorie Taylor Greene – the loyal Trump ally and firebrand Republican congresswoman from Georgia – stood in the middle of the House chamber, intently speaking on her mobile phone.

I thought you Republicans hated the elites like Trump and Musk having absolute control? I must have picked you GOP fuckwits up wrong then, but your shit show just keeps giving.

Are the Republican's using the Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, Victor Orban and Kim Jong un model, or a splash of each?

Nothing you post makes sense - President Trump is the populist candidate who took on the establishment that stole an election from him, that tried to kill and imprison him, censored our speech, jailed dissidents without trial, money-laundered mind-boggling sums of tax money through Ukraine, and pocketed MILLIONS in Chinese and Russian bribe money

How so my fragile petal?
My understanding is Russia won America 2016 and 2024 and they funneled billions through Trump businesses?

Trump and Elon tax returns were what?

I posted the House today?

Grandma is slow, but she's old - what is your excuse?

Hillary & her campaign were fined one hundred thousand dollars by the FEC for her Russia hoax.

I don't have a clue what you are on about do you mean somehing like this as opposed to your X shite
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/mar/31/hillary-clinton-democrats-steele-dossier-settle-electoral-case

From 2022
quote:

Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee have agreed to pay $113,000 to settle a Federal Election Commission investigation into whether they violated campaign finance law by misreporting spending on research that eventually became the infamous Steele dossier.

With Hillary someone did not Trump beg on the TV to his Russian friends to find some Hillary emails.

And didn't Trump himself get into trouble with various campaign finance laws?
How is he paying his $100s of million in Lawyer fees for his insurrection, treasons, rapes, sexual assaults because everyone knows that guy doesn't pay for shit.

I cant remember the last time we all spoke together on this site or if it was before or after Trump won 2016.

Part of the point I am making with this thread boscox is i thought you right hated all the Dictators, spongers like Trump and elites like Musk?

Yeah, Republicans are supposed to be against the whole Hollywood crowd too, but they praise Reagan.

I don't understand a lot of the GOP supporters anymore.

JVoV -> RE: What one picture tells us about Trump's power in Congress (1/6/2025 10:49:51 AM)

As I understand it, Johnson was re-elected on the first ballot. It was a spin majority, but nothing crazy like we've seen in the recent past with Republicans.

Slim majority. Fucking autocorrect.

You believe that your party marching in lockstep with one extreme wild-eyed political hoax after another, mass censorship, Stalinist lawfare, imprisoning dissidents, collecting Chinese and Russian bribe money, wars for profit, pardoning relatives, 911 terrorists, and the worst kinds of violent predators...

Force masking and vaccinating citizens, overt discrimination against straight white men...

Makes your party golden?

And you believe that MY party allowing debate on policy and leadership, and our representatives voting their conscious - makes us inferior?

I'm sorry they did this to you.

WTF is wrong with people changing with the times, or when new information presents itself?

Biden and Obama relatively recently vehemently opposed gay marriage, open borders, and the CIA's wars-for-profit scheme

Video: Ronald Reagan to a TV personality regarding his soiled, disgusting past:

quote:

"Mr. President in talking about the continuing recession tonight, you have blamed mistakes of the past and you blamed the Congress, does any of the blame belong to you?"

Ronald Reagan: Yes, because for many years I was a democrat!

JVoV -> RE: What one picture tells us about Trump's power in Congress (1/7/2025 10:12:15 AM)

Reagan was responsible for failing to handle a global health crisis. So many years later, there's still no cure for HIV/AIDS, or a simple vaccine, but at least the disease is treatable now, with just a pill or two a day, and PReP does exist, consisting of a pill every day or a shot once every 3 months.

I get my PReP from the same doctor that gives me my COVID vaccine each year now.

JVoV -> RE: What one picture tells us about Trump's power in Congress (1/7/2025 11:29:48 AM)

Reagan was also anti- gun control. Except for Black people. And then for sensible gun control after he got shot.
