MasterJaguar01 Since the 1980's... Republicans blocked EVERY effort to call BS on US drug manufacturers charging Americans 4x what they charge the rest of the world. 4x is probably understatement then and now but I had no idea who started it and when in America. If you take something like Free Universal healthcare, which all developed nations have except America, us nations do indeed pay for it but nothing like America. If I take your drug prices those are fucking obscene. Us other nations pay for it via our taxes but nothing like what US spends on health care for not very much. I don't have a clue how the deductions etc stuff works. Another way to think about this America is you are happy enough to pay for House Insurance and shit like car insurance? And, if you go Holiday to another country you need to pay a small nominal fee for medical insurance. Which happens here too depending on which shit hole of a country we visit. I remember reading a story not too long ago about some UK people visiting America. One instance was when a woman gave birth and her and the guardian did a break down of her medical bill. I think some itemised item was $10-100 for a nurse to bring her a glass of fucking water! I am not shitting any of you. If we visit America we need to pay for small nominal HI fee. Anywhere in Europe not really. Another story I know is some America student here had a medical emergency and didn't want us to call an ambulance (we had already called it) because he was worried he couldn't afford to pay for it. We told the silly bastard usa -guy (uk)student, ambulance are free here as is point of contact

In the early 20th century, during the majority of the first 3 decades, the Republican Presidents had trifectas and Woodrow Wilson (D) also had a trifecta for 6 of the 8 years of his presidency. After FDR won the presidency, the Democrats had a trifecta for all but 2 years of Truman’s presidency until Eisenhower was elected in 1952. Eisenhower only had a trifecta for his first 2 years in office, but the Republicans lost their majorities in the House and Senate in the 1954 midterms and the Democrats remained in control of both chambers of Congress until the GOP flipped the Senate in the 1980 election. JFK, LBJ, and Carter had trifectas for the entire time they were in office. Neither Reagan or George H.W. Bush had trifectas when they were in office and Bill Clinton only had a trifecta for his first 2 years. George W. Bush had a trifecta for his first term, then Democrats flipped both the House and Senate and held onto their control of both chambers of Congress until the 2010 midterms when they lost the House. Trump had a trifecta for his first 2 years and even though the Democrats only had a technical majority because of the VP’s ability to break ties, they chaired all the Senate committees and controlled the chamber giving Biden a trifecta for his first 2 years in office. ? I have heard of Regan, Bush 1 and Bush 2 and Clinton, and now Trump and Biden FdR I dont have a clue or WW?

It is public records. And BTW: As it turns out... the actual Executive Order is wishy washy and lacks any real enforcement, other than RFK Jr. will figure it out. GREAT... The guy with a worm in his brain that said you should drink cod liver oil to cure measles. As reality sets in... He's got nothing done. I will admit I was excited for a minute that he could actually accomplish something meaningful. Alas, it's all talk and bluster as usual.

That is your latest tactic. Every time I bring up facts that don't fit your narrative, you quote one fact that I brought up (RFK Jr. DID say he had a worm in his brain) and call the entire post an Ad hominem fallacy. Nice try, but no. I was referring to the Executive Order itself. The enforcement method is wishy washy and very vague. It basically says that RFK Jr. will negotiate prices using MFN as a reference. It says nothing about non-government drug purchases, and has no defined enforcement method. (other than RFK Jr. will do his best)
