MasterJaguar01 -> Iran parliament reportedly backs closing Strait of Hormuz (6/22/2025 9:26:10 AM)

Iran's parliament (a rubber stamp organization similar to the Republican-controlled US House of "Representatives") voted to close the strait of Hormuz.

https://www.axios.com/2025/06/22/iran-closure-strait-of-hormuz

Let's see if this administration has any strength to do anything about it. I am praying they do!

But, with the exception of the strike on Furdow, I have seen nothing but extreme weakness.

Furdow? Very amusing sicko.

Let's see if this administration has any strength to do anything about it. I am praying they do!

To who and why?

That's just more of your Democrat Media propaganda

50% of China's oil goes through the Strait of Hormuz

5% of ours does

So... China Joe's sugar daddy lover Xi Jinping won't let that happen.

Next cult hoax?

I have no Democrat media propaganda. It is a fact that the Iran Parliament voted to close the Strait of Hormuz

Yes Trump and Musk's sugar daddy, Xi Jinping has an interest in keeping it open.

But what you fail to understand is.... Oil is a global commodity. There is no American price, Chinese price, Indian price....

There is a global price. (And it's going up, up, up) (And will absolutely skyrocket if the strait is closed)

"If, if, if..."

More "expert" wild guesses, based on you and your Democrat Media's TDS [sm=runaway.gif]

Childish, to pretend that China Joe's daddy in any way controls President Trump. Your endless projection idiocy is SO fucking tiresome

And that's no ad hominem fallacy, I am describing how I perceive you and your mindless spew

Your cult did everything in its power to skyrocket energy costs, Barack Hussein admitted it

Video here: https://x.com/BarkosBite/status/1937117326970617962

Obiden shuttered pipelines, California and the national regulatory dictatorship disallows refineries...

It is abundantly obvious to even the most casual observer that President Trump is doing everything in his power to LOWER energy costs

https://x.com/MustReadAlaska/status/1935107295467495557

All your cult ever has are lies, ad hominem fallacies, and propaganda. "Kowtow to the Ayatollah! Let him have his nukes!!!"

Fuck you blind rabid dogs. Go to hell.

Wow... Rage much?

If our President is doing everything in his power to lower energy costs, he is definitely the weakest president in the history of the US. Costs are going up, up, up!

They went way down under Biden who presided over the highest volume of US oil production in history.
NOTE: Unlike what the cult leaders in the Republican Senate and House, and the endless nonsense on Fox News say...

US Oil Production has a strong, but limited impact on the price of oil. In fact US Oil production (or lack of it) is a response to the price of oil, more so than it is an influencer of it.

It's true that I strongly dislike deranged and mindless cultists.

The president just very recently assumed the office.

Yes, but he lacks any single policy to bring them down. Nothing he is doing will lower them. He literally has no clue what he is doing.

MasterJaguar01 -> RE: Iran parliament reportedly backs closing Strait of Hormuz (6/23/2025 2:14:40 PM)

Our President actually said this:

quote:

“To the Department of Energy: DRILL, BABY, DRILL!!! And I mean NOW!!!” “EVERYONE, KEEP OIL PRICES DOWN. I’M WATCHING! YOU’RE PLAYING RIGHT INTO THE HANDS OF THE ENEMY. DON’T DO IT!”

Can anyone be that ignorant of how oil prices are set? Or how oil exploration works? Everyone actually on the ballot for President should have to pass a test on this.

1. Our oil production is greater than it EVER has been (Thank you Joe Biden)
2. The Department of Energy does not drill for oil
3. No single person or entity can keep oil prices down. Even if our moronic president orders them to. The prices are set globally.
4. The oil companies are not interested in producing any more UNLESS the price goes up, because there is no money in it. What this moron doesn't understand is the closing of the Strait of Hormuz is like a goldmine for the oil companies. Their globally-priced commodity shoots way up in value and their domestic supply can increase! Would they sell it domestically at a reduced price??? FUCK NO!!!!! That has never happened. What you will see (if oil prices go up) is increased supply and all of it at full retail price (foreign or domestic)

It boggles the mind that we have a man sooooo ignorant of how global oil pricing works as our President!!! How does that happen? Wait. I know the answer.

Four years of rapidly declining inflation under Biden (due the loss of the supply chain under Trump) VS slowly increasing inflation under Trump. I'll take gas $3.86/gallon (what I was paying under Biden) over $4.89 currently under Trump.

I'll take a $165 visit to the grocery store under Biden over $247 for the same groceries under Trump

I can buy hundreds of cups of coffee with that over the course of a few months!

Let's check in on your cult chants

Oh look - Iran just agreed to a peace deal

All of you and your cult's expert predictions aged like raw milk in the hot sun

And President Trump was right AGAIN

PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH, BABY [sm=dancer.gif]

I wish we had peace through strength (as corrupt as he was, give me Ronald Reagan!)

What we have, is a weakened Iran (courtesy of the Israeli Defense Forces, because our own president was too weak and feckless to do anything substantial.)

wickedsdesires -> RE: Iran parliament reportedly backs closing Strait of Hormuz (6/26/2025 11:14:47 AM)

Boscox Fuck did I miss you doing figures there as most of the time I just see white noise with you? Those ones might actually be correct too.

About 20 million barrels of oil, about one-fifth of daily global production, flows through the strait every day.

In a way Iran is under blockade by America and has been for decades. They haven't blocked the straits and I don't think they will, or would. 20-40 years ago perhaps. Even if the straits were blocked there is ample oil and gas in the world to go around but the speculators and markets would have made 10-100 billion if the strait were blocked. As would have any and oil companies. Russia will be pissed they haven't, Saudi and the likes the same.

America I would have said, or their companies, they would have loved that. Trump not so much because of inflation.

It could also inflate the cost of goods and services worldwide, and hit some of the world's biggest economies, including China, India and Japan, which are among the top importers of crude oil passing through the strait.
