I got this one once:

"I slept with two guys and a girl this weekend and I do not want to go out with you anymore."

Chew on that one for a while and imagine how I felt (it turned out later none of it was true, she was just being an idiot).

My worst experience was when someone broke up with me on a message board.  He had a girl he was planning to meet start a thread about it.  It was embarrasing.  Talk about "ouch"!

Pink roses, her favorite. I like the singing telegram idea, and wish I would have thought of it. I've a singing voice that triggers the gag reflex in vultures and hyenas at 50 pases, so I would have wanted to do the singing myself.

The one "big" break-up i was involved in quickly turned very nasty, even though it was done via e-mail.  He'd send me a blistering e-mail, push all my buttons, making false accusations and threats, etc., then when i tried to respond i found he'd blocked me from his e-mail.  This happened every few days for about a month, until i finally gave up and blocked him.  So much for eternal love..lol.
