Interesting comments from Colbert, although satire, they certainly seem to describe a certain segment of the internet population quite well... For some time now, I've had the sinking feeling that we are sliding back into the superstition of the Middle Ages. Anything that resembles fact checking, citing authoritative references, debunking, or critical thinking seems to generate howls of outrage from an angry mob...here at CM and elsewhere in the cyber-world. What do you mean? A baseless inquisition into terrorism, because people think it endangers our christian beliefs, people believing less in science, and more in the supernatural, crusades to the holy land.... I don't see it how we're at all like the middle ages. Man! Kids these days! Yours, benji

LOL...I was sent this link weeks ago by a Norwegian friendwatched the clip and I found it extremely amusing. Colbert presses my funny bone, though I'm new to him. agirl
