ever notice how "long-winded" some people can be on here? Ever wonder why they find it neccessary to have an entired essay as a single post? do you find it annoying how long these posts (and reposts) often get?

i don't know about the rest of you, but i don't have that long of an attention span so excessively (dare i say "outrageiously") long posts tend to be a jumble of words to me.

yeah...it's like they're trying to over-express themselves in an attempt to appear more intelligebt than others. i sometimes feel like they are talking down to others.

Why use a big word when a diminutive one will do?

Nothing wrong with my attention span, but my ability to suffer fools gladly is a bit short.

*rofl* yeah, level, what's with all this sat word bs? you're SO freaking condescending sometimes :P *hugs*

i tend to post longwinded-ish posts when i'm not sure what i'm trying to say is coming across properly and i get rambly. or it's really late at night and i'm tired. so, you know, apologies for that :) but yeah, i've noticed some people who post realllllly long wordy posts for (seemingly) no reason as well. i tend to skim those or skip altogether.

Some people see complex problems as simple, some see simple problems as complex.

Some people see complex problems as complex and simple ones as simple.

Ten paragraphs as a limit ? OK. I am not being sarcastic here, it's not a rule, but if that's what the crowd wants, I have no problem with it.

It is about 2200 hours eastern time here Sunday, henceforth I will make my posts shorter, with the following exceptions.

Politics.

Religion.

Commerce.

Oh shit, that's everything !

OK, let's put it this way, I understand what you mean. I know someone on another forum waaaaay worse than me, sometimes I just back out and say "I'll read this some other time".

I know you guys were talking about me, I'm not paranoid. And I know you guys were talking about me. I am not paranoid, WHAT WAS THAT !. Oh, a fly landed on the outside of my window screen.

I admit I get longwinded, I'll keep an eye on that. I write to be read, doesn't everyone ?

T

(BTW, I just did it again a few minutes ago in another thread, but that was the past) T
