Know why sometimes people don't respond?  Because Mama always said "If you can't say something nice..."

I was watching the weather today, and it said there was a 70% chance of shitstorms in this thread.  Wear your wellies, people!

No. That's why I am replying to yet another whine about emails not being answered.

It's a form of self-testing-self-torture responding to peoples' Ads on collarme.

If I don't write to answer the Ad it means I lack self esteem and don't believe my attractiveness/allure quotient can stand the test of the rubber meeting the road, (or the wooden spoon hitting the tush).

If I do write to answer the Ad, on the other hand, I'm desperate and needy and pathetic for not holding out for that 22 year old with large corporation who has seventeen years of slavery and masochism under her thong; to whom I am really attracted, and who is my true soul mate if only she knew it... I'm answering this one, you see, out of despair, desolation and decrepitude.

That about sums it up.

Very well said SNS

with all the complaints here about non-responsiveness on this site, what is the point in even trying? people take time out of their day to read...and yes, even respond...to someone's ad only to get ignored. there is no courtesy here.

lol... Oh Akasha.... it wouldn't be a 'real' month around here without one of Michael's needy 'why bother' tantrums.

Michael, is it out of your system for another 30 days or so?

The short answer is because every so often it works. Similar to the lottery, the odds are astronomical, but the payoff is priceless. And before you say, "Yes, but it's easier for a Domme," michael, the point is CM worked just as well for my submissive and my puppy.

Gah...

Rather than just beat up on everyone how about we do something constructive, like discuss ways to increase one's response rate. I know in my experience it's been frustrating like others here. As far as getting responses I'm considering...
"Be a pest! Be a pest, put their patience ot the test...."

Well, not all that bad, but polite messages to the effect of "I sent you an e-mail but you didn't respond. Perhaps it did not get to you..."

What's the opinion? Good tactic? Bad tactic?

I didn't mean it that way, Michael. Really I did not - I shoud have made that clear.
What I meant was that actually, if I could give you a few of my e-mails I would do it. I was trying to be nice - but it didn't come out that wau at aztll. I know it hurts. It sucks. There is someone out there for you. Try to hang in there. Here's a HUG.
Now I feel really bad. I misunderstood the joke of Sweet's (I still thought it was kinda funny, just not in a personal way).

How many e-mails do you send out a day - or a week? Or, do you wait for prospective Dommes to contact you?

I think Dauric is right. There is a solution, maybe just need to find it. Heck, there are like 3 solutions to everynproblem on the planet. My father told me that, and I think he's right. HUGs!

G'morning all:

michael, if I made a mistake as to your status it's because your writing style is confusing. As LA said though, you've been here long enough to have seen all those email bitch and whine threads. You should know better. Also, your attitude won't score you any company. *shrugs*

Seriously consider a professional dominatrix. Since you'll have to pay for anyone to tolerate your pissing and moaning. If you want "no-strings" sex, consider a prostitute. Then we won't have to see you gripe, oy vey.

Stay safe, play nice, & share your toys w/ others...

I've never understood why people bother, most people are looking for something that can only be found in a fairy tale and the profiles I have looked at, I think most people want people of a far higher standard than they can really expect from how they discribe themselves on thier profile.

Take your head out of your ass and try changing your attitude. People have said that politely many times Michael and you simply don't get it... mainly because, frankly you enjoy the wingeing too much.

Why do people bother? Because it WORKS! Sure the majority of the time you get no answer, the majority of the answers go no-where... but if you don't try, you don't get. It does happen. I met mel through CM, that came close but not quite, I met helen on here, thats working well, she wears my collar... it WORKS.... but not with YOUR attitude!

Get it? No, I really doubt you EVER will. There is no helping people who WON'T help themself! Nuff said!
