I've been in a distance relationship with my sub for the past 3 years and am interested in hearing from other doms/subs who are in distance relationships, what sorts of things do you do?

I know that's not real helpful, but I couldn't resist. We don't scene online, but then we have no sex (she's het) and little SM in our relationship at the moment.. Online communiation is just that, communication. she serves me by getting her life in order and serving her leather community. We manage to see each other about 5 times a year. It'd be a little harder for you given where you're stationed, if she's in the states.

i know that others like Master Fire have it more difficult than i do with distance. Sometimes i complain about only getting once a month in. Lately we have been able to see each other twice a month. We don't scene online or over the phone, but each time we get together we take it to the hilt. We do talk on the phone almost every evening (free after 7pm) and have wonderful conversations about everything. Then during the days we try to IM each other. It is not always the easiest thing to manage, but i look at it like this; at least there is someone out there in the world who cares about me and is thinking of me.
