ShivaTS -> Constant subspace (8/1/2006 11:07:26 AM)

My Master worked with me for a few weeks straight in real time BDSM/slavery.  From the moment I woke up to when I was given permission to go to sleep.  2 weeks ago we noticed I was never coming fully down from subspace and therefore able to drop back into it at a thought, sound, look....Master has cut me off from BDSM for 4 days to help me come down, but it isnt helping.  It's become a problem now that I have gone back to work and cant function properly.  I have talked with alot of Masters/Mistresses, slaves/subs.  Everyone says its hard to get into subspace and they dont know what to say except try to think of other things.  I am hoping some people on here have had this problem too and can help with some advise

Not sure what to say actually, if after 4 days of not connecting at all you are still high AND actively focusing on what you need to do and not letting your thoughts drift away, it might just be a case that you don't really WANT to let it go.

Which either leads to a big emotional crash at the end or losing your job.

You could try simply ending ALL contact for a few days to get yourself recentered.

Or perhaps remind yourself that you want to be a good slave and do good service and that by not getting your head out of subspace you're preventing yourself from serving.  You obviously can do enough to ask bunches of people how to help you and to write a post like this on the forum- so it shouldn't be a big issue to expand on that and work as a normal person.

While it is exciting to feel that high, there has to be a point of balance. i agree in part with LA about not wanting to let it go...and if you are new to this, the draw of that thrill, and with all of those brain chemicals functioning on overdrive, you WILL be headed for a crash.  My best advice is to be prepared for the drop, and do some research into yourself and know your body and what you are and are not capable of handling.

Four weeks or so under micromanagement and then you're supposed to automatically snap back? Perhaps you would do better if not cut off totally but just have him slowly withdraw control. And in future, don't do this to you if there isn't enough time to bring you back to normal. Work on it an hour a night with one hour half control or so.
