What types of Music do You like During play[:D]

Sometimes I know we don't have a choice
of what kind of music
we are allowed to listen to.[&:]

Also what Song, if you could have it played. Would you like
to hear if Possible~~~[:)]

If given a choice i'd listen to nothing except ButtBoy or Enigma. i find anything too busy or with many words distracting.
my fav song would be dance of the whip by Buttboy

If the choice is left up to me (which I have been allowed only a few times), I chose Pink Floyd, especially Comfortably Numb. It just seems to help me drift off into an almost hypnotic state.........or else it's just flashbacks from parties in my high school and college days, lol.

Agrees with liljoy... Enigma is a definate must for a dungeon's repertoire. Some of my favorites are 'Gravity of Love' & 'Mea Culpa', but my most favorite is 'Si Dis Moi'... the rhythms are wonderful in their transitions and even what words are spoken or sung are done very sensually.... *gets heady just listening to 'Si Dis Moi' and imagining the falls against my skin*

Another of my favorite new age artists is Kitaro... i have had Kitaro in my own collection of 'sensuous sounds' since i was 15.

Your D/M may have a favorite or two of His own... but if politely asked, i'm sure He would take a listen to anything offered if He thought it would be stong enough for Him and subtle for you.

We rarely play music (and I REALLY hope the wall that separates my neighbor's bedroom from mine is as soundproof as I like to think it is!!! :P), but my absolute favorite song is the Marilyn Manson cover of "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)."

Great Topic... i love music all kinds. During a scene i love soothing music or things with a "beat" [:D].. Sometimes i can get lost in the music and float away.

I had the chance to have a session with music on, which was enya and it really helped me focussed on something else besides the pain itself, i was drifting away and felt so good.

I hope to do it again soon with my Dom [;)]

And here I thought I was going to be the only one to mention metal. [:)] I really like Disturbed, Godsmack and Staind. And there are a few others.

Disturbed's "Devour" on their Believe album is one of my favorites. [:D]

I guess I'm one of the weirdoes out there (surprise) as I don't like scene music. It's distracting and can make it difficult to hear what's going on. I also don't like it being too dark, I like to see who I am playing with and what's happening around me.

Actually, a main reason we don't usually play scene music is because it interfes with communication during... I need to be able to hear my Master when we play. And I'm very much trained to the sound of his voice, what he says, and the way he says things, not being able to hear him over music would be more of an interference (especially with lots of the music I have, which is on the hard and loud side :) ).

i enjoyed that song a lot. Master didn't think it would be a good scene song until i suggested it for a mummification, wax or fireplay scene. Then He agreed. Neither of us thought it would be a good song for a flogging or anything involing striking. What kinds of scenes would you recomend that song for?
Our taste in music is pretty different so we are always searching for different ideas that will satisfy oth our needs.
