As several have already said, your preferences are yours and yours alone. Do what makes you feel comfortable.

I like Estring's comment as I have noticed that occasionally, when someone states having a preference for slim, attractive women...they are often looked upon as being "shallow".

The reference that age has anything to do with maturity, experience, or self discipline seems to be a bit off. I think age falls into the same category as many physical traits for many people. Most of the arguments I have heard from younger people in regards to older people is that , "Ew...its like watching my parents fuck." A similiar argument from the older crowd is "Ew...I have a son his age.". So, isn't this a reaction to physical attributes that are typically associated with a particular age? How is it any different from saying "Ew... too fat" or "Ew...too scrawny"? To me, its no different, rather its just another one of those things that we decide that we can or cannot accept in our significant others.

I prefer someone who is close to my age, but not necessarily on a chronological scale. Given that I act like I'm 12 a lot of the time, I want someone with the same out look as me.

Of course, now that I'm nearing 28, and have a mad crush on a 19 year old who may be corruptible.....I can't help that that'd be a good one to go for, with both of us reaching our sexual peaks around the same time

I suspect the reaction to age was in fact very personal for the one responding, likely it excluded him/her, thats probably all it is, but too bad some people have to bad mouth others when things dont fall their way.

I'm looking for a TPE lifetstyle, and I would really like it my slave had more to say to me than "Ow, that hurt good." If you are here to fulfill a kink - more power to you. Some of us want more and they aint nothing wrong with that.

We all have preferences. My PREFERENCE is for someone that is closer to my own age. I won't instantly slam doors because of this, but that is my preference.

Whatever you do is probably " right "for you. One thing you might consider is, that this type of lifestyle is not without its dangers and theres nothing that can replace experience. Good Luck...Mike

There is nothing wrong with a age preference...

i tend to like Dom older then me and not younger. i also tend to like Doms with experience but that is just me... i am sure there was many subs out there who like the opposite ...

I understand this also -- i prefer larger Men... taller and Husky/stocky .... i think it is what i am used to with my Ex husband but i just am not sexual attractive to real skinny Men. i like a Man where i have a lot to hold onto and makes me feel "safe". (for lack of a better word)

My preferences have never stopped me from chatting and getting to know other Doms just things i tend to look for. things i am attracted too. I like very Dominate in charge type of guys who know what they are doing. *grins*

For me stating a preference is just being honest of your desires and what is attractive to you.
