Consider this a guide for those that do not use emoticons: = I'm smiling when I typed that. It may seem like they are laughing at their own joke, but it is the equivalent of a rim shot after Don Rickles calls someone a hockey puck. (Besides, "If I won't laugh at my own jokes, who will?" ) = flirty smile Often in correspondence written as ";>" It is equivalent to my asking about double hitch knots and MistressX replying, "Do you want me to show you? " Sarcastic out of the side of the mouth comment. What the person they are replying to said was so ridiculous they don't have to respond to it. They can highlight its ridiculousness. WARNING: this symbol often pisses people off. They may deserve the ridicule you pour upon them, but they won't like it. For an example: poster #1 "Obviously, left handed people are morally inferior and not to be trusted", poster #2 "Yeah, Right " Frankly, I'm not sure. I assume it is "I am turning blue trying to not laugh or trying to keep a straight face. I'm angry. For Example: "Regular drivers I can understand not knowing a pedestrian always has the right of way. School bus drivers, however, get extra training. = sadness. For example: My cat died. I liked the fleas. (C'mon who is writing this post? You didn't think I leave that one alone, did you? ) disgusted or finding something distasteful. For example, Poster #1 "Some breeder slaves must eat the afterbirth", poster #2 "Anyone know a recipe for placenta pot pie? ", poster #3 "I'm going to be sick. " not sure. I am vexed by your comments, perhaps. For a hypothetical example: Poster #1 "ther r thos whmo ndrstnd this," Poster #2 "huh? " Not sure. I think it is someone yawning. For Example: "iwillserveu, I think you are really funny. " not sure. Perhaps it means "I am wearing a surgical mask." not sure. I think that is sticking out your tongue. I wear glasses perhaps? = embarrassed or ashamed. For example "I like the Backstreet Boys ."
