I wrote this Prose peice a while back in school, I had written it based on a true story and experiance of my life. This is the unedited version of it, while I have another copy somewhere that I had sent to a publisher. I wanted to share something with the community and I wanted to become an active member of this community to show how serious I am.

A life's End, a Life Anew

Sitting in the hospital with a very deadly illness. I sit under a tent, of plastic, breathing through the hose. Doctor said I should have come sooner; my life was close to its end. I sat next to a boy, with a smile so bright giving me fun while my parents weren’t there. We both had the same illness, both the same age. We played games on the TV; we played with our ninja turtles. We played board games, hand games, and guessing games, continuously having fun. We became good pals, but my life was soon to its end. I came too late they said, I wasn't to live much longer. I looked at him once more with a smile and tears in my eyes, they gave me a week, a week of fun a week of pleasure as my life was soon to an end. We learned each others names, but didn’t seem to care. We always had fun, always together, both sick he and I. Two weeks later, I still live, with my new friend. We continued to play, and I continued to hear, that I wouldn't live much longer. Time went on, his condition got worse, and mine got better. I stared at him hoping to play, but he was so tired, so pale. I wondered what was wrong, why he wouldn’t get up. Why he wouldn't come to play. A Few days later, when I woke up, his bed was carried away, he was not on it. I asked where he was and the Doctor said, "He was in a better place" I myself being the innocent I was, asked a million questions. He told me he had died, his condition was worse then they expected, I was expected to die, but that day I was told to Live.
