So, does anyone know why Gauge hates the dancing banana?

Anyone have any hypothesis?

And what is up with Estring and boycotting whales?

Anyone have any theories as to why we should boycott whales?  I personally think that they must have sided with Castro or something.

Why do Gorean slave-girls giggle so much, are they in on a joke that they rest of us do not know?

Any takers as to why, on that one?

For these questions and any others that you may have, I am creating this thread.

Why is there this strong desire to hi-jack threads that you do not like, and have nothing to contribute but to say that you do not like the thread?

I have been mulling this over, and I am tired of writing rants, so I would really just like the reasoning that goes behind this.

I think Qguage has a strong revulsion for things that are usually misspelled, like banana.

Estring boycotts whales (I think) because he is in the construction business and they raise hell with the framing when they get caught in it.

giggles are usually forgiven anyone, easily.

that's all the deeper I will ever think on this site, I think.

You will have to blame this on benji. He has been teaching a course on this subject. With all the new found income from it, I believe he will be able to retire soon.

while benji is the hi-jackiest of the hi-jackers, i do not remember a post from him simply complaining that he doesn't like the thread -- his posts are usually a bit more interesting than that.  however, he does sometimes post to mock someone who posts merely to complain that they do not like the thread.....

and i can't figure what's so offensive/disturbing/threatening about the dancing banana -- i think it's very cute....always makes me grin to see it.

after reading many of estrings posts, i wouldn't begin to assume to understand his motivations for anything...

so i guess my answer is -- life is full of mysteries.  part of what's so compelling about it - and part of what's so frustrating.  after all, life would be so much simpler if everyone just admitted i'm right!  [8D]  (runs laughing from the room -- hey, at least i can entertain myself!)

If you could reread my post, you'll find, it was a joke that refered to another post of benji's in the complaint thread. I NEVER said he was complaining about the thread. I said he was teaching a course on thread-hijacking. To make it easier for you to understand this, I went and found his post in the complaint thread and will quote it here for you.

and does He not like whales, or wales? i luv whales (not that i know any personally, but i'm sure if i did, then they would be lovely), and i think wales is a nice place, not that i eva been there really, except on the way to catch the ferry home.

Shall I research the page # where indeed benji did attempt to be a terriorist hijacker and try to take back back his complaint thead??   It did not work.....he has lost it forever....WWS reference is correct he taught us well. I actually got an A+ from the teacher.   I am still working  getting the peeing down but I am not a puppy, just an old woman. (Poise is my friend LOL)
