ORIGINAL: Daddy4UdderSlut 2. The biggest mistake that people normally make when thinking about another country where they haven't really visited and talked extensively with many of it's people is considering it to be a monolithic entity, composed of completely homogenous citizens, clones. From my experience, there is enormous variety in the outlooks, attitudes and practices within the US, and within Britain (again, as in any country I have visited, period). This is a good point because if you think about the mixture of people you get in either country (black, white, asian, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, left wing, right wing etc. etc.) the absurdity of applying national characteristics to all those different groups speaks for itself. About the only thing all Brits agree on is that the next time Hugh Grant leaves the country, we lock the door behind him and pretend he's French.
