i have always driven well when loaded, turn on the tunes and enjoy the basking all the way home and into the next day...i never leave a heavy scene abruptly though, always spend some down time, at least an hour getting some comfort and nurture, but i bounce back pretty quick and then off i go ...on the road again...that is just me. Others may take an entire day, evening or weekend, depending on what they can handle both emotionally and physically. i am a medium to hard maso, so what may seem intense to one, may be mild for myself, and even during an intense scene, i have no problem driving home less than an hour later. Like i said it varies for each person. i feel that it is my responsibility to get to know myself enough to make a safe determination in this area. Then convey as much info as possible to the Master to aid him concerning the intensity of the scene, the methods he wishes to use, and how much after care i really may need, depending on the time factors involved and the intensity of the scene.
