Status: offline 		*breaks out a baseball bat and spots a neck that needs chompin on* ...... soooo today I learned at 42 years old I can't do without sleep like I used to . all thought I don't think I can sleep just yet .... but maybe by weeks end I will treat myself to sleep .. but who knows .. guess .. things are still up in the air ..... wonder if I should eat something too .. nahhhhhhh

One of the biggest things to get past when someone dies is the "closure" that is needed to continue on without them. I hope that you will get this, regardless of being able to attend the funeral or not. My prayers will be for you.

Status: offline 		Today I found out I have quicker reactions then what I thought I did. A car pulled one of those "lets not put on the blinker and slam on our brakes to make a left hand turn. wait for traffic." all the while a big bus full of campers moving with traffic right behind them. I was able to steer from hit the car and yet put an arm out to stop a kid from falling flat on the floor in front of me.

Status: offline 		Today I learned that no matter how hard you try, there is no avoiding either an argument or an extended discussion about your romantic life if you are stuck in standstill traffic with your mother. However, I also learned that she has an amazing ability to only see what she wants to, discount the validity of a relationship based on the age of the partners, and no matter what I am always going to have the wrong opinion on getting married again.

Status: offline 		Today I realized that no matter what, I am always gonna be the protective Momma Bear and will defy anyone to mess with the well-being of my unmentionables...  grrrrrr.....  *puts claws away, grabs cubs, and goes to sleep... with one eye open*  lol...

I also realized that the love I have for my father and my Big Daddy is wonderfully reciprocated.  I am a lucky woman.

That makes me sound a bit pretentious, doesn't it.  Anyway.
