Hi Neddleetits, I am pretty accepting. And I don't judge you. I know you are not alone, that there are many subs into needle play and edge play.. I have all kinds of fantasies, and asked myself what should be considered sane, and what should not be considered sane. I've heard of some subs who wanted their master to amputate their limbs. So, where do I draw the line. I can imagine all kinds of tortures I would like to do, and all kinds of tortures happening to myself, but it seems to me if play permanently damages the physical body, then it is not sane. This is just my personal view, and I am not here to judge you or your kink or anyone else. What do you say about "cutters" who cut their arms, and sometimes their bodies to get endorphins, to stop feeling numb, and to lessen emotional pain. Somewhere a line has to be drawn. How much should a person sacrafice in the pursuit of endorphins? I think there needs to be some balance. Eating, sex, bdsm, smoking, recreational drugs, gambling, alcohol are all addictive, are all pursuits of the archipallium, and all can become compulsions that entice us to do what our clear mind and our better jugdment would advise against, and consider not sane. To me the pursuit of pleasure is sane providing it is not all consuming, it is consensual, and it doesn't permanently damage the body. Best regards, Michael
