slvneedsowner -> When did being a slave begin to mean laziness? (8/8/2006 9:50:27 AM)

Masters,

As a slave myself i feel that i need to ask.  From seeing it for myself and from talking to other slaves online since when did being a slave start meaning to sit on one's butt?

i've been in situations with Masters that i worked my butt off for Them while the other "slaves" sat around watching TV or playing on the computer.  Maybe i'm just too old fashioned but i was trained to believe that a slave is meant to work around the house to provide her/his Owner with a house that He/She can be proud to come home to.

Or maybe it's just all these 20 somethings that think being a "slave" is just a game...being 40 something i take being a slave very seriously.

Just  would like to know if any of You feel the way i do but from the Dominant side.

Thank You,

slvneedsowner

Wow...as much as the situation you outline sucks, it's really a relief to know I'm not the only one to ever feel this way.

I think the worst of it is knowing that so much is expected of me and yet since there are no expectations of others they can sit on their rears while I work my tail off.

Thank you for affirming that I'm not the only one.

Well, for an off handed response, i try not to take too much of this life seriously at all.  i have learned to not even take myself seriously at times, for it creates too much unecessary drama.  i also don't tend to worry about what others are doing, and try to just focus on what i am doing and being the best i can be, and let others hopefully do the same.  i would suggest, that you  focus on just being true to yourself and do what makes you feel good according to the person/slave you are, and/or the person/slave you wish to become, and not worry about the others.

If cleaning and serving is your thang, and that is what being a slave hearted person is for you, than go for it.  Not every slave is a service oriented person.  It may not be what the others are into, or even what they believe being a slave means for them.  It is a matter of personal perception and belief, feeling and emotion.  What stirs one's heart is very unique, and what motivates one to serve, may not necessarily be the same motivator or interest for another.  We each are responsible for our own happiness.  If your Master has problem with the others, than leave that to him, and just focus on what you need to do both for your Master, and for yourself.  If the Master has the others around, it may be because they fill his needs, wants and desires, in other areas and in other ways, or even that he enjoys their different energies and personalities.  Just some stuff to consider... *smile

Wow and an entire ageist perspective to boot.

One could say that all of the slaves were doing what the master expected of them- slaves serve in a myriad of ways, not all of which is housework.

The other thing one could say is that, if things are getting done, why should anything change?  You're doing what makes you happy, they are doing what makes them happy.

One could also ask if you are the type of person to become possessive over what you do?  Would you get pissed if they tried to clean and it wasn't the way you do it?  Would they try to help and you'd snap at them so they figured they should just leave you be to do what you want rather than make it an issue?

And then one must ask why you didn't know this coming in?  Surely you didn't just agree to move in and be in this multi slave live-in relationship without spending time together and seeing how things worked and understanding what the expectations are?

Finally, why didn't you approach the master directly and ask what he thought of the situation?  Or perhaps you did and nothing changed so the relationship ended.

One cannoy deny your point- there are lazy slaves in the world who do believe that being a slave means being a cherished pet with no worries and no real responsibilities in life.  And plenty of slaves are more than willing to let others do the work for them (slave doesn't equal domestic goddess, though they can be trained to at least do the same things).

Oh and your ageist statement at the end was completely unnecessary and adds a bitter edge of resentment to what was already a whining post.

juliaoceania -> RE: When did being a slave begin to mean laziness? (8/8/2006 10:25:29 AM)

I have to ask a few questions...

Were you the first slave? Do you feel he added the younger ones for mostly sexual reasons? Do you feel they are sex toys and you are the mother/maid to them all? Your post reads like this to me. I am not poly, but as a 38 year old woman with few hangups about aging and getting dried up (I find that every part of life has ups and downs and I am excited about maturing into my 40s) I would still feel terrible if I felt I had been suplanted by nubile slave girls.

I am not poly, and this is one of the reasons why I never will be, I would not take well to feeling second best.. and your post comes off like you feel that way. If you try to address this situation and it doesn't change and causes you extreme unhappiness, well even a person calling themselves a slave deserves some peace and happiness within service to a Master...

Being a monogamous submissive my post maybe completely off and wrong headed... just thought you sounded very angry and sad..

Good luck

Everyone in my home is going to work, bring home a paycheck. I am very clear about that from the beginning. No free rides. Everyone in my home is going to be responsible for maintaining that home. If there is anyone sitting around on their hiney goofing off it will be well earned relaxation time and all will enjoy it. Seems pretty simple to me.

A slave is told what to do in my small world. If it's told to sit on it's butt and watch tv all day that's what it had better do.

If it's told to work all day it had better work all day.

If I have multiple slaves and I tell one to watch tv all day and another to work all day they had best do their respective tasks.

If a master/owner doesn't care what the slave does then it's pretty much up to the slave (as I see it).

Questioning one's owner is the fastest way into their bad books.

Moral high ground? "I'm better because..." irrelevant.

But that's just me ;-)

when did being a slave begin to mean laziness...when master first allowed it

Mavis -> RE: When did being a slave begin to mean laziness? (8/9/2006 7:03:00 AM)

From the profile, i don't think the OP was referring to other slaves within her household, but maybe making observations on other slaves.. perhaps online?  or judging from discussions or profiles?

Welcome to the boards slvneedsowner.  i think this will get your profile the exposure you were hoping for.

It's the Master's house. If he is happy with the way it is, that is his wish.

If you cannot handle his ways-depart.

Nalta -> RE: When did being a slave begin to mean laziness? (8/9/2006 9:32:02 AM)

mine has to keep the house nice and clean. if I come home and its not. she gets punished which means one of three things.
1.) the most common that I use, I tie her up and either whip or spank her or sometimes both. day after I did that, when I came home, the house was emaculate
2.) having to clean the house with something in her ass
3.) I invite one of her friends over to pick something up or call the pizza delivery man and I force her to answer the door nude with a toy in her puss.

either way, if a master takes more time to punish his slaves, this wouldnt be a problem.

enigmabrat -> RE: When did being a slave begin to mean laziness? (8/9/2006 12:54:41 PM)

Number 3 is bordering on trouble.... i dont think its legal to anser the door to a delivery person naked like that....

Vancouver_cinful -> RE: When did being a slave begin to mean laziness? (8/9/2006 3:25:08 PM)

My take on this? Why would you even be bothered to stay in a situation where you felt resentful and unappreciated? That's a type of laziness in itself.

Whining and blaming others is a good way to get out of the work of having to change your circumstances.

In the end the only person who can make you happy, or unhappy...is yourself.

::sighs:: Nice wank fodder but in reality, looks like a great way to reward an exhibitionistic masochist to me.

On the chance that I am wrong, Nalta, as I most certianly can be...How many slaves have you owned, how long were the relationships, and how often did you find yourself having to punish your slaves?

If I remember correctly from earlier, the boy is 19. I then decided it was not even worth the trouble to question.

I know, you're right. ::sigh:: I checked his profile before answering. Normally I'd just walk on by, but I think I'm in teacher mode today. [8|]
