Yes I do, but does that really matter, a purported pillar of the pharmacutical industry does this???
If you or I did it we'd be classified bio-terrorists but they did it & got help covering it up by the FDA...
Doesn't it make you wonder about other drugs like say Vioxx that have killed thousands, I believe both the companies & the FDA are complicit in MANY cover-ups...
I just put info out there so people can be aware & make thier own decisions!!!

I got this in an email:

Think about it................

A car company can move its factories to
Mexico and claim it's a free market.

A toy company can out source to a Chinese
subcontractor and claim it's a free market.

A major bank can incorporate in Bermuda
to avoid taxes and claim it's a free market.

We can buy HP Printers made in Mexico

We can buy shirts made in Ba ngladesh

We can purchase almost anything we want
from 20 different countries

BUT, heaven help the elderly who dare
to buy their prescription drugs from a
Canadian pharmacy.

That's called un-American!

And you think the pharmaceutical companies
don't have a powerful lobby?

Think again!

All this offshoring and free trade opens up a lot of legal and liability loopholes for corrupt corps as well. Dodging responsibility, taxes, humanity. It's crazy but a corporation is considered a human being. With rights as a human being. But seldom prosocuted or held to human being standards. Unless it benifits it.

Almost as funny as his use of the term 'American'... drug companies' in a thread about Farbenfabriken Bayer AG of Monheim.

Lotus, good point.
I'm not at all a "Globalist."
I think anything we need can and should be made in the U.S.

Lexapro almost killed me.
and now the law suits finally start.
Hurray...[:D] those @$$holes.

calamitysandra -> RE: Bayer Sells AIDS-Infected Drug Banned in U.S. in Europe, Asia (8/9/2006 6:17:48 AM)

It is Leverkusen [:)]

Monheim is just a small outpost.

Alumbrado -> RE: Bayer Sells AIDS-Infected Drug Banned in U.S. in Europe, Asia (8/9/2006 7:57:32 AM)

Bayer is a solidly German company who has bought up many competitors.
Calling them an American drug company is like calling Prince Charles a minor official of  France.

calamitysandra -> RE: Bayer Sells AIDS-Infected Drug Banned in U.S. in Europe, Asia (8/9/2006 8:02:45 AM)

Sorry if I was not clear enough.
I never intended to say it is not german. I only wanted to state that it is based in Leverkusen (germany) not in Monheim.
I should know, as I live in Leverkusen and am a laboratory assistand. I did my aprenticeship at Bayer.

Sorry for misunderstanding...Monheim is listed as one of the company's  headquarters in it's earlier development.
