Okay... lemme rant... get it all off my chest, and then I can go back to smiling again.

For starters... I love my dog... I really really do. She's my pride and she's my joy. But.... I think the doctors love her even more than I do lately, considering she is putting lots of extra money in their pockets due to my little "accidents" that I keep having ... I even had one doctor last night ask me "Are you sure it's really your DOG causing these injuries to happen?" Yeah buddy... If Master can cause these all the way from the sandbox... Anyways!

Soooooo... now at 6mons pregnant, I've been put on crutches told to head to the surgeon. The doctor is pretty sure I tore or stretched some type of ligament/tendon. The good thing is nothings broken... The bad thing is it still hurts like hell. And what do I get to do come Monday morning? Yup... the week of Christmas I get to sit in an orthopedic surgeons office... And let's face reality here... what can they really do pregnant...

To make matters better/worse whatever way you wanna look at it... Master is over in the sandbox, and the nearest family members I have at all at least a five hour drive away. Sure I've got friends around my area... but still! (I WANT MY MOMMY TYPE THING!)

Then... I decide to be nice to that beloved little puppy and take her out at 2am this morning so she can run around out in the field and play... Okay great... does she come back when called? Nope... she decides to run and run and run... meaning that Mommy has to either go after her, or risk her beloved puppy getting lost, or making it to the highway that is less than a mile away. BAD PUPPY!

Ok I feel better now... you can return to your regular scheduled programs now!

I only hope things improve for you and Im sure they will - living here in NZ I cant imagine how hard it would be sending a loved one to a warzone - keep strong - it will be worth it when he returns....

I do wonder about the dog :-) I used to think I should have bred dogs instead of having kids (hindsight is 20/20 lol) but after reading your story I think I'll stick to the kids

Take care

Hello SweetMisguided,
It sounds that it is not only raining, it is pouring Buckets!
It sounds very difficult and lonely.
Maybe getting a long rope for your dog to be on would help you wouldn't have to worry and she could still run a bit until your leg gets better?
Hope things get better soon!

Isn't Life Living Grand! And think a moment.......... would you let your baby run free ? no of course not so put that pup on a clothes line leash when its out and slow
down because you are gonna have to get use to doing things a little bit differently and running after two babies doesent get any easier. Soooooo invest in some rope or clothes line and make time for your self to heal. Sand lots are temporary but babies, loves and dogs are forever. ~wink~ JMO

So wait.... is the puppy still out in the field running around?

Sounds like puppy has some "issues".

A 12 guage with full choke and double buckshot will end your fretting......

ps: I'm a cat person
