Not sure what's to get? It's getting your body to lactate (produce milk) for other than it does naturally (to feed your infant).

what i dont "get" is why... as in why its erotic??

Then it's just not your thing. There are a lot of things that I don't understand how people can find it appealing. Honestly, as far as lactating goes, people I know who are into it are for a variety of reasons. One, is simply, when a woman is lactating she is being a *total woman* of sorts. After all, it something that is *natural* to many animals.
It's sort of like the way a pregnant woman *glows*.

Trust me though, I bet there are many that see nothing fun, exciting, or erotic in things you enjoy :)

I don't know why it is erotic. I can tell you things I have heard from others over the years on the topic.
People say it bonds them together. It is a very personal thing to share. The bond between infant and mother. You get the same bond between Dom and sub that way.
I've also heard that it is power. Making someone do something they would'nt normally do type of thing.
Although I'm sure there are Dominants here who are into it.

I'd answer that with a question:

Why do you assume it has to be erotic?

Of course for some it is, but for others it isn't erotic at all. Not all fetishes turn the people that enjoy them on, and not all fetishes are always done just to be erotic or sexually stimulating.

Some like the taste of the milk. Some were bottle fed and never got that as a baby so it can be theraputic. Some figure its healthier than cow milk. Some just are fascinated that humans can produce milk, the entire mechanism and process is appealing to them. Some use it for bonding, some for erotica, some as foreplay, some as a sign of ownership can the submissive gives her *everything* up. Some use it as a power play, some because they think it's hot and it turns them on.

Some use it to get and to provide comfort. There are many things I am not doubt forgetting to think of right now.

It really does - as with all things involving humans - depend on the people directly involved, as it is all relative. Mileage varies.

a bit of a related question if i may...

approximately one year ago i had my nipples pierced and since that time.. i have been experiencing small amounts of lactation.. i have searched the net but could not find anything written on this topic....

anyone have any info on this?

I doubt you're lactating. It's more likely that you're "pushing tissue", which is pretty common when nipple piercings are trying to heal. I'd suggest talking to your piercer for some advice.

Lactation for purposes other than infant feeding really has no natural purpose other than erotic play. It was mentioned in the other thread that in a way lactation completes total ownership of a female slave. Another very special bond is created betwen the sub/slave lactating "milkcow" and her Dominant, and it's erotica extent is defined by the two. (people, not breasts)

Lactation can simply be for nourishment and antibodies, and conducted strictly by artificial devices such as breast pumps (or milking machine) to collect the milkcow's milk... not much erotica in feeding a piece of plastic, whereas the erotic feelings of the Dominant and milkcow are intimately exchanged by direct breast feeding.

I personally find it erotic to feed from my slave's breasts, but that is one of my preferences of kinks and her's, so it's mutual. Many people find scat play erotic... need I say more?

There are different ways to induce lactation. In some cultures it is even induced in males. Commonly, in the lifestyle, it is induced by suction. I am sure there are some Dom's here that have experience in the practice that can tell you more about it. In my case I actually breastfed all of my children, and while there was nothing other than the nourishing/nurturing mother/child bonding attached to that, I did find that in lifestyle play I enjoyed that particular aspect of play with my submissives as much as they enjoyed partaking of it.

Gloria is right, it is a very personal thing to share, but then, most everything we "share" in this lifestyle is.

I am not a Master, obviously, but a Master did induce lactation with me. i am not willing to discuss that in an open forum but if you want to do this and would like to know my experience, I will share it with you privately. I apologize in advance to all Masters for posting on this forum.

From this Doms point of view - it is another of the slaves/submissives bodily functions that control over is given to/taken by the Dom - kind of like bathroom use control or orgasm control/denial - it is yet another thing that the sub can offer up as a 'show' of her submission, if you like.

Since the subject of lactation seems to generate a lot of interest on the board, I thought I'd finally present my (female) take on the natural process. I thought I'd respond today, on Mother's day, even though the original question is in an "ask a master" forum, and concerns induced lactation.

The commonly held view of breastfeeding is that it's altruistic and nuturing. The baby is the only one who gets pleasure. That might be the kink perception, too. The Master enjoys, the slave/sub gives.

In my vanilla experience (as a woman who nursed her three kids) there's far more to the interaction than that. The mother gets great pleasure, too. It's not just psychological (like from unselfish giving). It's physical.

One of the hormones involved in milk let-down is oxytocin. That's the same hormone involved in orgasm. I never got whole body orgasms when nursing. But nursing always led to a lovely feeling of peace and relaxation. If the lactation is natural (like after birth), this oxytocin shrinks the uterus, too (a little bit like contractions during orgasm). In fact, when a nursing woman does have orgasms, her milk also dribbles out.

The feeling of nursing a baby is not exactly erotic, but not exactly unerotic. I think society frowns on recognizing nursing enjoyment because it might seem incestuous to some. Not me. I liked it, for many reasons.

And I do remember being very interested in sharing that experience with my husband.

Great post January. Even though it's been about 23 yrs since i nursed i still remember the satisfaction and peace i felt with both my babies.

January . . . excellent post . . . its too bad that more women don't embrace those connected feelings and not look at them as incestuous. its a beautiful and unique experience that more babies and mothers need to openly share.
