On people who sweat a lot ductape is useless. It comes off easy.

you just put the tape on the reverse... not a big problem.  Put the tape sticking to itself with the adhesive upward away from the body instead of towards it.

First, if you don't want to rip every hair off his body, and maybe some skin too (sic), then do a thin wrap in clingfilm first and put the tape over that.

Second, to stop the chair tipping, tie the top of the back to something, preferably a suspension grade hook in the ceiling.

Third, practice! It is very easy to go too tight. Believe me! The skill is in laying the tape on, not pulling it tight to get it off the roll.

Fourth, blunt ended scissors always to hand, and be well careful when unzipping him, very easy to catch some flesh, and you know what that would lead to.....

Good luck, enjoy!

I was thinking of having him wear a shirt also when duct taping his upper body to the chair that way no irritation and the sweat issue.  This is more for fun than anything.  I still consider myself new to the scene so it's nice to have met such a good friend to help introduce me to things.  I plan on winning this bet..   and I will let you all know how it goes.

Greetings,

Just a few quick reminders:

1. make sure you have a way to remove these bindings quickly just in case (scissors and perhaps some alcohol to help with the adhesive)

If you want to play safe and sane and all that make that medical scissors (the ones that can't break the skin).

Other than that I'm glad someone else mentioned that you can (and will) take skin off with duct tape (depending on how hard you press it and how long you leave it on).

I had never thought about being irritated by the adhesive good to know ;-)
