I've been feeling like I wasn't really a submissive because I hadn't received any "You're not a *real* submissive" emails. But today I got one so I can join the club everyone else is in! Woohoo!!

Thanks to reading the forums I got a big laugh out of it. I appreciate how much I am learning here. Thought I'd take an opportunity to say "thank you" to everyone for making what could have been a difficult message, one that was very amusing.

You know? There's just something *wrong* about saying that I didn't feel like a submissive because I hadnt' been told I wasn't a submissive....... Just realized how very, very *wrong* that is! LOL

Master and I have a standing joke going on - whenever He makes some outrageous demand and I start to grin and look at Him funny He will say "A real sub would" with a big grin on His face.

Just an example, this morning He was having soft boiled eggs for breakfast, with toast soldiers. I had to cut the tops off the eggs for Him and then He said "Feed me". I looked at Him and He said "A real sub would" so I dipped a piece of toast in the egg and fed it to Him.....lol I guess you had to be there but we both were laughing! [:D]

i suspect these are the same 'Doms' who also evaluate other Doms and label them as 'not a real Dom' while trying to lure us into their 'real' world...it's sooooooo tempting.

I was told I drove like a Dom.  This was from a "Dom" who had lived in a small town all his life and I think was on his first visit to the big city.  I have lived in the city all my life and actually drive to survive. 

I still laugh about that one!

Then there was the "Dom" I was typing to, we had typed for only a few days mostly via emails.  He informed me when we met we would do so halfway between where we each lived.  It would be at a resturant with a motel nearby, (yes you can guess where this is going)  He said we would have lunch dinner whatever and at the end of the meal he would state either - Its been nice meeting you (which meant he did not want to proceed further) or he would invited me to join him in the motel.  If I chose the later option it meant I wanted to continue to explore the possiblities with him however it also meant I would submit to him then and there to whatever he decided.
Can you guess where this exploration lead........you got it.......I never did get that lunch/dinner...........LOL

The best being he was actually surprised that I would not go along with his well laid out plan for my safety.

I had to  quit putting hash marks on my  desk for that  statement when I realized I had whittled away half my desk

I had a domme friend from my political circles here in California that insisted I would make a terrific domme too[:D], it really made my day when she insisted I could not possibly be a submissive, the horror, the awfulness, the complete gaul that a submissive could out debate her.. it just wasn't possible! (she is a democrat and I am a borderline communist...smiles).

She finally accepted it, much to her chagrin...lol

I have a domme friend who thinks I'd be a great domme myself, but it's just not in my nature. Oooops. Did  I just suggest that i am a natural submissive?? Next I'll be getting emails saying I'm not!!!! The horrors! The pain!!! LOL
