What happened to Insex?
I know all rights to their videos have been sold to a Dutch company, but does anyone know the reason for this abrupt departure from “the scene”

Cheers

When did this happen?

If you go to the site, you can read the explanation.

About a year ago – I guess

Apart from that it has been sold to a Duch company I find no explanation on the site.

Hmm one of the slaves who used to perform for them was a friend of mine. I had not heard that they were no longer in operations. Interesting.

The feds happened to insex with thier age reporting hassles.

Which is why a dutch company owns the video rights now-out of thier jurisdiction.

Look up Hardtied.com.......its the same people from insex under a different name.

So can I assume that it’s just a matter of time before Hardtied.com will move to Europe?
Cheers

That might be an incorrect assumption.  Hardtied doesn't follow the same format as the old Insex did and might not trip the same red flags the original site did. It's much more "Insex-lite" now.

Hardtied also has the advantage that from the beginning they did the required record keeping.  Trying to go back and recreate it for everything you've done for quite a few years would have been almost impossible.  It appears that they made a business decision to sell the catalog and start fresh rather than waste their energies on doing the daunting task of aquiring the required documentation for the entire body of work.

cr0ckdile -> RE: What happened to Insex? (8/14/2006 5:02:12 PM)

It's a pity to see the creativity and ingenuity of the people of Insex now used on a website that's about as intense as Hogtied.com (not that that site does not have its merits, but it is far lighter).  Frankly, Hardtied.com is a much watered down version.

cyberdude611 -> RE: What happened to Insex? (8/14/2006 11:35:59 PM)

Don't know if anyone knows the entire story, but from what I've heard they got into some trouble with the feds.
And I know they were having a TON of problems for years with the credit card and billing companies.

Homestead -> RE: What happened to Insex? (8/14/2006 11:40:05 PM)

The credit companies were gone after by the feds first, to try and shut porno sites down.

When the sites retaliated by using offshore  processors, they came up with the documenting proviso to try and do the same thing.

Utterly fascistic.  The secret services should busy themselves with terrorism and other threats, not what lawful citizens choose to view in their own home.
