There are so many threads and topics and subtopics and categories amidst the forums and boards of this site, that I'm curious to see what attracts people's attention most.  What makes you want to read a posting most?  You can choose only one, though I'm sure many aspects are at least partially important, please indicate your top reason only.

Thanks for your time.

The name of the posts usually catches my attention, after that, if its something I'm interested in, I will read it, if not, I move on.

I really go into a thread if my friends have been in there, or have posted... a lot of the time, it depends on if Sage has posted... lol if it is worht HER time, then i know it is worth mine... lol... that, and anything that i haven't read before on the humor forum....

I can't say that I look for anything other than if the thread is thought provoking. If it can give me a little something for my mind to chew on for awhile, then I most likely will read the entire thing.

Interesting topic by the way.

The title often catches My attention as does spotting that someone I usualy find interesting has posted on it, but the deciding factor as to wether I post or not is that it is an interesting angle on the topic or something strikes me as worth saying.

The title catches my attention  when it comes to choosing threads as well.  If i agree with the majority of replies...i most often do not  post. (unless i either feel strongly about the topic or have a different point of view to offer)
Also when someones words or feelings mirror my own on a deep level.

I also read far more threads than i  actually comment on, and delete more replies than i post

Yup.  Everyone's pretty much said what I was going to say.  The title might grab my attention, although there have been a few titles I've passed over as being of no interest, only to find a couple days later that the actual OP was interesting and I DID have something to say on the subject.  For the most part, however, I usually only read those threads and posts that present a different slant on things, and I tend to skip the touchy-feely, kumbayah type posts.
