Status: offline 		I recently had an experience with a Domme where she cut out a buttplug shaped piece of ginger root, and inserted it in my ass.  She also cut a smaller shard off and inserted that into my penis hole.  She stated that the ginger would give me an erection like I'd never had before, but would sting like nobody's business.  It certainly did burn some, but it didn't produce any extraordinary erection.

I have heard this before...Is this a fact or myth?

Status: offline 		I myself have never had a scene with a male. However talking with other Domme's and Mistresses, I have heard it is different with each man. But that is only by word of mouth. I can only assume that your Domme is trying different things to find the reaction that is right for her. If this is the case just be patient. You trusted her enough to play with her so trust her now. If she says it will work then believe it. And if it doesn't seem like it works to you but it does for her then I would suggest to go with the flow to please her. The ONLY time I would suggest for you tell her it isn't good for you is if it permantly harmed you. Hope this helped.

Status: offline 		You know erections are generaly made better by increased blood flow, so the properties of ginger being that it does not increase blood flow probably means that no it won't nessicarly make the erection better on it's own...However if you happen to really enjoy the feeling of the ginger (which will burn, as I'm sure you know) this might cause you to relax/become more arroused and make your erection "better".  Of course this also depends on how you or she is defining better.

You might suggest to her obtaining something with L-arginine in it, as that increases blood flow, and actualy will improve erections..however it is a drug Regulated by the food and drug administration, and i would have a doctor make sure either of you are physicaly capable of takeing it thorugh ingestion or as used in a topical cream.... as if you have heart problems/high blood pressure/et this could give you a heart attack....BUT it works...It increases blood flow, feeling, and i've known alot of people who swear by it... it's even fun to put on her little man in the boat to get things going for her.

Status: offline 		I've used ginger root with one boy.  It burned so much he could barely sit, and continued to burn long after he took it out. 
 
I've never heard it made hardons especially stiff.  We used it for the pain factor.

Status: offline 		I have used peeled ginger many times. And yes, it did produce a stronger erection in several subs...but only because they were masochists, and were turned on by pain.  To be sure you get the most effective burn, you have to have a very fresh hand of ginger. When you peel it it shouldn't be overly "woody" and it must have a nice slick feel to it once peeled.

If longer, stronger erections is your goal, you might try using a cock-ring, as that will restrict the flow of blood back out of the penis, thus causing a bit of a backup and more full feeling.  (Standard disclaimer inserted here regarding not  using one TOO overly restrictive)

For Me personally, I will always have figging with ginger root as part of My arsenal of techniques, if for nothing else, but the surprise factor of using it the first time on a sub who's only experience with the stuff is in Asian cooking, or ginger ale. hehe

She didn't claim anything about getting harder but she did tell me it would burn....but after the burning left...claimed it would be quite a sensation I'd like? She was one of the pros that's contacted me by getting me all excited then mentioning that she just turned pro......was she setting me up for some excrutiating pain for NOT meeting her with cash in hand....?????

Status: offline 		Go into your kitchen cupboard, get out the ground ginger and rim yourself with it....TRY IT.  It is a sufficient burn to get the gimmick and not as strong as fresh (or even better, slightly moldy) gingerroot.

Just DO IT! Then everything becomes clear.

Status: offline 		The ginger she used was probably old and a bit dried out. For this to work the best the ginger needs to be as freshly cut as possibly. If it is older take it and soak it in water for at least 24 hours then drain it and peel it. The ginger root should be soft and pliable and have the distinctive oder of ginger.
I have been a Chef for over 30 years and have used a lot of ginger since one of my areas of speciality is Asian food or Pacific Rim as they like to call it. I also am a food fetishist and sadistic Dominant male who enjoys combining my food fetish with my BDSM play in this style. I have done figging as it is often called many times with several females and always had excellent results because of the careful preparation of the ginger. Status: offline 		Its fact that it burns some and some it doesnt seem to bother.
From My own experiences the squishing of soft ginger root put in a condem
and put on the penis can have a variety of effects from okay.....To holy cow is that wild.

I have read that molded ginger root is more powerful...I have used both and
it does seem the older root has more heat.Remember though everyone is different so
you cant predict what it will feel like.

A tip when using in the butt....I make a hole in the root and put a small rope through the hole,
