I've given up on some of the other sites and a lot of the other discussion forums because of the profusion of wannabes and the lack of substantive discussion. I've heard great things about this place and from what I've seen it appears it may live up to its reputation.

Although I don't give much thought to labels in day-to-day life, for the sake of simplicity I identify as a service-oriented dominant and I maintain my house in the poly-fidelity style. I have a penchant for Victorian-era service dynamics that I find provides an appropriate model for servant roles.

I believe it is my job as the dominant to help my girl free herself by leading her to outgrow her limitations and inhibitions. I believe the key to such growth is found in education, stability, and the development of trust and improved self-esteem. I believe it is of primary importance to establish compatability based on personality and ideology before concentrating on shared kinks which may change over the course of time.

I attend local functions as well as some larger regional events. I feel it is important for me and my girl to refrain from insulating ourselves from the community. We may not agree with everyone we meet but if we close ourselves from the opinions and choices of others we miss an opportunity to learn from their mistakes, if nothing else.

I feel that the ideals of honesty, integrity and loyalty are worth striving for on a daily basis. I am far from perfect but I will not willfully betray those ideals, in word or deed. For myself, this is the basis of honor.

I'm looking forward to meeting to interacting with others who feel as strongly about their beliefs as I do mine.

Be well
Timothy
