Martial Arts would be very nice, perhaps a sharp shooter as well. I like my "Pet to have claws :) I wonder if there are any female military subs running around here.

Flying naked would be nice as well, but really any telekinetic ability would get a gold star from me."

Hello Sir,
i was in the Marines for over 6 years. i’ve also been through flight school on a martial arts scholarship. Not to mention, i have never missed a B-mod target at 500 yards with an M16. i know i can defend myself, but the problem comes with finding a Master who is not scared of me. Do many Masters like this kind of thing?

Former military, yes... and a sharpshooter.

I'm really surprised to see all the desire for belly-dancing.  Is it just the provacative nature of the dance, and if so, wouldn't the ability to dance seductively be more accurate?

but but the spouse doesn't  desire or know about the lifestyle. Sounds so much like my wife doesn't understand me to me which is an old old line. whatever, my reply has always been hmm and You expect me to be able to trust You enought to submit to You while Your wife can't trust You to keep Your vows? i can't do that.

How sad that "honor and integrity" have fallen under the definition of "unusual skills". But in an environment where a cheating spouse can be rationalized as a "good catch" what can we expect?

mmmmmm well... maybe this isn't unusual to some... but I do find it as such at times.

A submissive with the ability and skill to Fix themself.

Oh! Very nice! Personal responsibility is definitely a lost art.

I would enjoy a sub who knew how to read out loud in an engaging manner. It is definitely a unique talent.

lol.. I once did a dramatic reading of all the words a group of us could think of for the word "vagina." There were over 120 of them. I wept, I laughed, I even employed a bit of syncopation. It was a LOT of fun!!

pooon-tang was my favorite word to say. It kinda rolled off the tongue.

The same 'unusual' skills or traits I want in anyone....honor, integrity and an inability to lie.

And...yes...I find these highly unusual in people these days.

Sadly, I would choose this also.

My Master would agree with the Sushi/Sashimi Chef! He is very impressed with  my progress with this skill set.

I can't speak for everyone, but I know that myself and at least some others to whom I've spoken prefer the "Pet with claws" to the "helpless bunnyrabbit."  Think of how many James Bond villains were equipped with gorgeous, lethal henchwomen who answered only to them.  That's not by accident; it's because it's incredibly sexy.  Having a kitten is fun, but there's a lot more thrill in keeping a tigress on a leash.

I can sharpen knives so sharp you can shave with them AND I can tie a knot in a cherry stem with my tongue. Or were you asking about useful skills???

I dont know, mistoferin... can you teach my boy that cherry stem trick?  I can think of at least one VERY useful application of that sort of dexterity...

Yep.  Plenty of us like to have a warrior women submitting to us.  The greater the slave, the greater the Master.

I'd just make sure you were securely chained down before I punished you.

Belly dancing, play medieval instrument and sing, cook: medieval/Ancient Roman and 19th Century British dishes (Regency or Georgian, I'm not fussy) and be strong enough to pull me in a rickshaw as I don't have a car.  Oh, and Shakespearean acting ability a definate plus.

Oooo, I do a mean Shakespeare interpretation too. I'm just finding all kinds of special skills today!

I think it's the exoticness of the dance. Sexy dancing is common-place now, and pole-dancing is taught by fitness intructors at the local Y.

Beladi (misnamed belly-dancing) is not seen as common, and it also carries some exotic mystique; especially the veil-work. Sometimes what you don't show is sexier.

As others said, it is a sad state of affairs when these are unusual. I guess I am too used to being around pathological truthtellers most of the time that lieing does not come to mind. Tact does come into play but the thing that springs into my mind has been how to tell someone a truth I know they will not like. Now that does not mean I can't lie but it is a conscious thing to decide to do that. And my SO's have said I suck at it. So I'm not quite sure how I feel about that. I would like to think if I had to I could pull it off.

I have seen quite a few who would like this, obviously I am amoung that number. I like strong women in general though and part of the difficulty I have found is finding a sub that is strong but still submissive since I do not see these as contradictory at all. Not to presume but I also think it would be interesting to have another Marine in the family. I mean with Airforce, Navy, and Marines already at the family get togethers its already a fun fest of insulting the other branches. I suppose I could see a potential Master being a bit intimidated at first but hopefully the ability to reason would kick in and they could see the attractivness of those traits.
Not to mention I would love some tips at the range :D

Perhaps there are more on the board than I realised. I love the power in the potential. I admit like QuietDom said, the idea of Pet as a loyal minion, with offensive possibilities,  is very attractive. Even if, when I find mine, she does not currently have some of those skills I have already planned on her enrolling in martial arts (preferably jeet kun do) and learning to shoot. Not only because I just like that, but also as a fun set of activities away from the house.

Ability to perform a japanese tea ceremony would be a nice skill as well. Heck, sending her to become a fullfledged geisha would be damn nice, except for that whole waiting 5 or 6 years for her to return from Japan. Yea that puts a bit of a crimp in those plans. Now if a geisha just happens to be naturalized citizen and would want a gaijin Master.. contact me ;)

Actually I was just wondering about that. The structure is pretty much Dom/sub by design all the way up. Its just a matter of finding those that enjoy it in ways other than just being thier job :)
