What did Santa give you for Christmas? Was it anything near to what you'd been hoping for?


The holiday started off on a nice note, we spent Christmas Eve with a long time, close friend of mine. The most important of wishes on my list has not been forfilled ... yet. However, one wish right up there at the tippity top of my list, -- 'quality time with family' -- was recieved. Master was able to meet my one of my best friends and her family, as well as family members of mine He'd not yet met. i love how it can seem as if all time stands still, as people finally find time for the important things such as -- family & friends -- i think i finally know what my New Years resolution should be. [;)]

Bonus gift was received this morning at 7:15am: The manager of the salon called to inform me that due to the 12" of snow received over night, i was not needed, nor expected to work today! Yippeeee!! Four days in a row off from work. MORE time to enjoy family! MORE time to enjoy relaxing and simply doing what i enjoy most. [:D]

Other than that, i found a cell phone under the tree with a tag which read 'From Master Claus, and a personal agenda/organizer signed as from 'Santa Dom'. [;)] The cell phone was a great surprise, and much needed with all of the driving i do right now -- never had one before, am having fun playing with setting it up. Master gave me a very kewl watch, green snake skinned band, & water resistant. i rarely wear watches because my wrists are very petite, i normally find any type of jewelry such as watches and bracelets are uncomfortable to wear. Master has changed this over the course of the past 6 months though ... [sm=kiss.gif]

i also received a variety of gifts such as numorous pairs of slippers, PJs/lounge pants, bathbubbles etc.

Unrelated thought: Yesterday, December 26th, marked 6 months since INSIDEYOURMIND and i met and entered into our relationship.

Congrats. You've just made it as long as most lifestyle relationships last. Each day now is a new beginning of sorts. You're making history.
Which in all reality probably only means the two of you have interests outside the scene as well.

As far as christmas goes. I guess all in all it was a pretty good one here. Did I get everything I wanted? Well, I really didn't want much so I'd have to say yes. Maybe I should say I got a lot more than I wanted?

Thank you for the nice words.

We have a complete relationship, while it has it's foundation in D/s, with our children and family, it also has vanilla roots.

I am amazed daily at my sub's commitment to her submissiveness. I don't question it at all, but with no realtime experience before this relationship, she shows herself to be a true submissive.

I am a lucky Dom.

Well my true wish was not answered, but that was not a disappointment only because i don't believe in fairy tales. My husband did give me underwear though....hmmm thats depressing in its own right. Maybe next year i should ask for matching bras *rolls eyes*.

I got what i asked for--a new scale that also gives body fat percentage. I wanted it to motivate me to get back to my weight workouts. I had a body composition analysis done on my last cruise and wanted to be able to follow my progress on losing fat. I also got the newest version of Print Shop ProPublisher because I do all the publishing for my golf club.[:D]

I got exactly what I wanted- a delux george foreman grill and stock pots. I felt domestic and silly and my aunts all laughed at me. (They were more the party types at 22. I'm the soup type)

I also got to talk on the phone to a fellow CM member, though not meet her. The not meeting was my fault as I flew out a day earlier than I expected. I felt dumb.

Still, happy Yule, all.

The only thing i wanted was a chance for the whole family to be home for christmas and it happened so yes i got what I wanted :)
