How ‘bout smells?

  • I don’t know why, because my father was a bastard, but I absolutely LOVE the aftershave he wore: Old Spice...but a little goes a long way

  • I also about swoon at the scent of clean sweat on a man (or myself, for that matter)

  • And the smell of puppies and babies…CLEAN puppies and babies.

  • Oh... and the scent of Freesias

What are the smells that make you smile?

…and a field of alfalfa on a warm, sunny day!

and curry powders; aren't they interesting?

I'm a gardener and I always have scented things underfoot or near a pathway so brushing up against them will send something interesting wafting into the air...and some things that open at night, so I'll ocasionally notice something in the night air.

LOL  I have a good nose...I wonder if that's why I'm a good cook?

The smell of pastries and vanilla.

The smell of the Earth after is rains in the heat of summer

Pine needles on the forest floor in the heat of the day

The smell of my Man when he has been working hard and I hug him close to me, the smell of his manhood when we are intimate.

Cinnamon, coffee (though I don't drink it), roses, vanilla, gasoline, blood, hot copier ink, grilled onions, the ocean.

I have a Pakistani family next door and they cook up curry all the while.......... what would make me smile would be if those inconsiderate sods would invite me occasionally instead of driving me nuts in Homer Simpson drooling style!

Ahh, a thread to bring a smile....
  • Master, of course (I sleep with his shirt and just inhale him)
  • The ocean
  • My mothers cologne (Maja, from Spain)
  • Garlic
  • My Nona's kitchen (she is gone but I have her recipe box which smells like it, and I know Nonna is spelled with two n's but we always used one)
  • Not just coffee, but Peets coffee
  • Lemon blossoms
  • The mountains
  • Horse stables (yep, call me weird)
