I just got some junk mail with the absolutely most asinine ploy I have ever seen.
It seems I have won a very prestigious poetry award, and I will be awarded a wonderful plaque etc. all apparently worth a total of $400.00, along with a cupon for $100.00 off the next convention. And it will only cost me $169.00 to attend.

Now here's the kicker....all I have to do is submit the poem they have awarded me this wonderful prize for.

ROFLMMFAO!!!!!!!

What really worries me is the fact that there are apparently people who actually do go for this shit....hard to believe, eh?

Well now I'm not sure....apparently Saraheli has also been awarded the same prize!!! I am confused, I just don't understand, they said the poem I haven't written yet was a masterpiece and an outstanding achievement. Now yours is, and hers as well???
