MrSimon -> Shopping in Tampa (12/28/2004 9:53:11 AM)

Hello all,

I was hoping anyone knows of a local Tampa store for bondage. I normally shop at JT Stockroom as they have been great, but sometimes My patience simply is not there to wait. Any ideas? Thanks.

I don't know if she's still around but Lady Christine Leather on 30th Street is a good store with lingerie, leather, toys, dungeoin accesories etc. She's in the strip mall on the south side of the road.

Lady C leather
11124 N. 30th Street
Tampa, Fl

Easy to find, right next to Busch Gardens. :-)

Lady C's is gone, at least from the 30th St. location. I don't know if they are still around in some other form.

Here are a couple web based suppliers who are in the Tampa area:
www.leatherworkstoys.com
www.NativeAmericanExotics.com

I've seen their goods at shows and conventions.

Today I was doing some website stuff for my friends Warren and Christine the owners of Lady C Leather and discovered this old listing of people asking about what happened to the store.  The owners of Lady C Leather closed their doors on 30th Street when they moved from Florida to Las Vegas, NV few years ago.  They do have a website of their new store. They have a double store front business.

I highly recommend them for your every bdsm needs. Im not just saying that because Im their friend, but because I to am an avid shopper there and see what goes on behind the curtains.
What with the economy the way it is.  A lot of our local bdsm supply shops are closing down, and this is the last one in town that carries decent stuff.  For the owner (Warren) makes all their leather goods for the store from paddles, restraints, hoods, collars, arm sleeves, floogers, etc instead of buying it from another retailer and jackin the prices. And they dont sell the crap leather stuff like Reds, or other cheap Mexican leather made stuff that you find in most adult book stores and such. I highly recommend them for top quilty leather goods at reasonable prices. http://www.ladycleather.com/index2.html

I can testify that I bought many items from Lady C's in Tampa which I was very satisfied with.  In fact, my first-ever "session" was with a pro domme in the small room they had in the store.

I've never bought a thing from this place in NV (I assumed it was just some other place with the same name), but if it's the same people, then I'd recommend them.

I also forgot to mention for those who are on Fetlife they are also listed on there in Nevada as Lady_C_Leather.

As to Trekkie's post yes they are the same people who owned the store in Tampa on 30th Street who now own the same store in Las Vegas, and the Domme who gave you your first session was most likely Christine.  You should email her Im sure she'd like to say hi.

Said it before and I'll say it again....Home Depot.....they have so much beautiful tape

weaselwelder -> RE: Shopping in Tampa (7/23/2010 1:40:07 AM)

Is Kinks on 7th still there? It's been forever since I paid any attention while in Ybor. Come to that, I wasn't actually in BDSM the last time I was in there, so if all they have is crap, don't blame me.

Other than that, all I can think of are the general sex stores (The Todd is the only one I'll willingly walk into that's still open) or waiting until Fetishcon. I'm told that there's a Tandy Leather outlet in town if you want DIY, but I have no idea if that's true.

xxblushesxx -> RE: Shopping in Tampa (7/23/2010 3:40:49 AM)

It looks like their apparel is allure leather...the prices on those are a bit high.

For example this leather skirt (which is rockin' btw) is sold at Lady C's for $201.95 (with free shipping)  http://ladycleather.com/shoppingcart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=9_42_11&products_id=43

But I can buy that same skirt (which is still rockin' btw!) at several places such as Allure Leather itself for around $130. (I've found it for around $100. but, since Allure sells it for $125. I decided to go with the average price.) http://www.allurestore.com/product_info.php?cPath=56&products_id=162&osCsid=0828725bb956e61a78f4fa2b2b9ed48e

I would possibly still consider shopping there for hand crafted items if he does do a lot of the work himself, but I wouldn't over spend on clothes there; leather items are expensive enough as they are.
