Light sensitivity is more common in people with lighter colored eyes due to their eyes having less pigmentation than people with darker eyes. People in overcast locations tend toward lighter colored eyes, as less sunlight reaches them, so blue and green eyes are common in natives of say Germany, Norway, and Ireland. On the other hand, people with darker eyes tend to be indigenous to areas of heavy sunlight such as central and south America, Africa, and tropical coastal regions as their eyes have adapted to the increased light over generations. The best solution to this sort of sensitivity is to invest in a good pair of UV blocking sunglasses. Some medications like stimulants dilate the pupils, causing a sort of artificial light sensitivity. If it is possible, not taking the drug or drugs responsible for pupilary dilation is the best way to fix this problem. If that isn't an option, again, invest in high quality UV blocking glasses or specially made prosthetic contacts. And for the record, the info about eye color and regional location is brought to you curtesy of evolutionary biology. If you don't care to believe in evolutionary biology you are welcome to the alternative of ID, and you may rest comfortably with the knowledge that the Designer hates you, and gave you blue eyes in order to make your life a little more miserable. :)
